I,
myself a great mystery,
wonder about life and why,
and the truths about history,
sometimes I sigh,
in my realization of the despair,
That so boldly knocks me off balance,
and all I can hear,
are people's admiration of my talents,
yet through life's twists and turns,
something inside me yurns,
for a simplier pathway than the one ahead,
some easier smoother consistent path,
devoid of wrath,
and pain and fear,
the one place where,
I can truly be myself without irony,
a great mystery.
