Merry Christmas

A time for friends and a time for love,

A time for family and gratefulness for all we have,

Nice things to show just an ounce of how much we care,

While we make more memories to hold dear,

Forget the negativity and all the year's resent,

Through a nice meal and present,

Sometimes we all just need a break,

From everything because life's hard to take,

Now we enjoy the lights and warm smiles all around,

And this thing called 'Christmas Spirit' that we've found,

Reflecting on it and all the hassle we went through,

I'm glad to do it just to spend special time with you,

All of you, my family and friends make me glad,

To celebrate Christmas even if during the year you made me mad,

There are no limits to the fun we've shared,

Or the joy I felt just knowing you cared.
