A letter from inside of us,
Coming straight from the soul.
Words of truth in us,
Escaping the lies' hole.
Too much pent up in us,
Spilling over like soup in a bowl.
Revealing the fault in us,
Dirty and black as coal.
Yet also revealing the good in us,
Like diamonds on the heart's shoal.
A testimony from inside of us,
As we strive for our one goal.
