What ever happened to honesty,
and key values along with some morality?
Are they fated to bedtime stories be turned,
and made into legend by our greed that in our mind has been burned?
When will the world make sense again,
instead of seeking to make dollars in exchange for a friend?
The dark has become the norm,
as people blindly walk into the storm.
We forget that as people we are to be united,
yet we drop our brother at the first bit of trouble sighted.
Someday an end will come to finish our strife,
we should all consider what we do with our life.
