☼ day six ☼

Castiel

I awoke in a white room, the feeling of dizziness coming back as i attempted to sit up. I slowly sank into the bed i was in, resting my eyes again as the monitor drifted me to sleep slightly.

I glanced around and noticed a figure leaned back into a chair, mouth hanging open along with drool. I smiled slightly knowing it was dean who was there. He looked drained, im glad he was sleeping.

I looked around for assistance and found a remote like object attached to my bed. I glanced at the buttons and pressed for assistance. The button flashed green and i placed it down as i watched my heart beat go up and down.

Suddenly a male with scrubs entered the room, a small clipboard in hand. "Hello.." He glanced at the paper attached to it and then back to me. "Novak? I hope i pronounced that right.." He smiled faintly and walked up to the bed. "So do you know what happened?" He asked me as he placed down the clipboard.

I tried to recall everything but only remembered a few specks. "I remember talking to dean, i got dizzy and i a headache, but thats it." I replied blinking a couple of times. The nurse nodded as he checked my pulse. "Okay seems good... Look at me for a sec." He held up a few fingers and asked how many there where. "three." I replied feeling confident as he nodded in agreement.

"What is your first name?" He asked marking some things on his paper. "Castiel." I sighed glancing around the room. "Where do you live? State i mean." He hummed clicking his pen a few times. "Kansas." I replied yawning a little as he nodded.

The questions ranged from whats my normal diet to when was the last time I've slept, which i don't even remember.

"Okay castiel, you seem all good, your going to have to stay overnight just in case." The nurse smiled before flipping to the front page. "And were going to start prescribing you medication for your insomnia as well." He tapped on the clipboard before walking out of the room. I stopped him right before he left.

"What happened to my body?" I asked sheepishly as i messed with my thumbs. "Well at first your friend said you fainted but after testing your blood pressure, were guessing your body forcefully shut down. Thats why where giving you medication. You need sleep Novak." He stated before continuing to walk away from me.

I turned my attention to dean once the doors shut, he was fully awake now which was good. "How ya feeling?" He asked standing up to stretch before making his way to me. "Okay." I muttered as he climbed into the bed with me. "Dean i don't think you can do that.." I laughed as he pulled me closer. "Let me be a rebel." He replied shoving his face into my shoulder.

I laughed feeling his cold skin on mine, his smile making it worse. "Your cold." "And your hot." He replied grinning into my neck. I chuckled as he brought his arm up, wrapping his hand around my neck, which made me bust into a fit of laughter. "I have a ticklish neck." I laughed as he brought his lips to them, making me laugh a double chin. "Stop dean!" "What! Im not doing anything." He said bring his other hand down to my hips exposed skin, making me squirm in place.

This went on for a few more seconds until we both laid in that hospital bed, our of breath from laughing. Dean was laying on top of me now as my breath dilated momentarily. I always liked it when we where this close, it was comforting.

Suddenly dean broke the tension as he looked up at me, resting his chin on my chest as he spoke. "Cas you know i love you right?" He said casually, taking me off guard. My voice hitched as i replied 'yes' with a squeak in my voice.

Dean smiled before resting his head on  my chest again. "I didn't get to say what i wanted to say when you... anyway, i really don't want to be your best friend anymore cas." He messed with the fabric of my shirt as he spoke, he was obviously nervous. I soothed his nerves as i ran my fingers through his somewhat tangled hair. 

I felt his breathing calm as i played with his hair. "Cas you mean a lot to me you know?" He asked calmly as i nodded. "It was kind of obvious." I laughed in response before he laughed too. "I don't know but i think we should.. date? It just feels like we have been dating for the longest time, but it was never official.." His sentence trailed off as i agreed with his statement. "It would be nice to officially call you mine.." I hummed as i noticed his body heat up. "Yeah it would be cool huh?" He chuckled slightly before looking at me again.

I smiled widely as i knew what he was asking. "Would you like to be in a romantic relationship with me?" I asked for him with a laugh as he nodded. "Well as of now, you are officially my boyfriend." I closed my eyes smiling as he brought his face up to mine. "Now i can officially kiss you." He said cupping my face into his hands. "Officially." I muttered as he kissed me passionately.

and everything was perfect.
