✧ night seven ✧

Dean held onto castiels arms as he slept in the bed, the soothing sounds of his boyfriend breathing calmed Cas down as he laid there in bed.

Dean was dozed off as Cas glanced around at the room, the white aesthetic bringing him an expressionless emotion. "So pretty.." He muttered glancing down at deans arms around him. "Also pretty." He whispered to himself as he rested his head on deans.

Castiel was wide awake as the night passed along the way; he was scheduled to leave tomorrow morning instead, it was late.

He glanced down at the other boy before bringing his hand up to his head, parting the extremely dirty blind hair. "pat pat.." He muttered with no expression before sighing, bringing his arms down with a flop. "Im bored." He thought out loud again as he patted his legs from above the silk white sheets.

Cas hummed before grabbing the remote on his side, pressing a button for the nurse, not really sure what he wanted.

The same nurse came in moments later with a worried expression. "Is everything okay Novak?" He asked approaching the bed with Castiel and his sleeping boyfriend.

Cas shook his head in response as he shrugged. "Im bored and i cant move." He explained throwing his head back into the mattress, causing deans to mutter something quietly as he scooted closer to Cas. "Do you have any movies?"

The nurse shook his head slowly as he watched dean squirm. "Im sorry, we don't. We have cable though.." He explained going over to Castiels bed side as he bent over to grab a tv remote along with a laminated paper. "Here is the remote and here is the channels available.." He explained handing it to Castiel gingerly.

Cas thanked him as he took the remotes, placing them down on the thin table attached to the bed. "Whats your name anyway?" He asked glancing back at the nurse.

He smiled gingerly before responding. "Kevin. My names Kevin." Cas smiled at the name before nodding. "Nice name... If you don't mind me asking, since i cant sleep, what do you major in? Or is this like a full time job?"

Kevin shook his head as he pulled up a chair from behind him before taking a seat. "Well i major in academics- Law really. I want to be the first Asian-American President." He explained happily before continuing. "Im in advanced placement, and this is an extra job for the money for school and such." He waved his hands around as he spoke. "Its a nice job, not so nice workers though.." He sighed running his hands though his hair.

Castiel nodded as he spoke, completely playing attention. Kevin was a nice guy and dean wasn't a chatterbox, so it was nice to have a full blown conversation with someone.

An hour passed and soon dean was stirring in his sleep, causing Cas to be cut off mid sentence. "You know.." Kevin spoke in a whisper. "Im glad i convinced the hospital to let him stay with you; they almost kicked him out.. I could tell you guys had something special." He smiled as Castiel watched dean roll his shoulder slightly.

Dean always slept with Cas and this was normal for them, but this time something was different. This time it actually meant something to Cas, they where something now. Now Castiel could cuddle him closer without worrying about there limit, without worrying about breaking there friendship. He could kiss him more, they could be an actual couple; and that meant everything to Cas. Dean was something special in his eyes, and we wouldn't let that go.

"Yeah.. He is isn't he?"
