Dwayne
I spent the weekend up to Tuesday with Dominique. We went to the movies and on makeshift dates. While im with her i feel stagnant, like im doing nothing with my life. I want us both to be successful and make money. But right now neither of us are doing that. Well, Dom is on her way to it but im just living with my step mom and not doing anything with my life.
I want to go back to school but, it's hard for me to get back into it.
"Dom lemme talk to you."
"Yeah?"
"You love me right?"
"Yes. Of course."
"So you would give me your honest opinion?"
"Dwayne."
"Alright. What do you think about me going back to the airforce or starting school."
"You can do both. Isn't there a program thingy?"
"No no. Im talking about school full time."
"Oh." she looked me.
"Well?"
"I don't know. Whats your plan if you do school?"
"Basketball."
"Dwayne be serious."
"What. I can play basketball for your school. If i talk to the coach and the principal."
"Dean."
"Yeah the Dean. It could work."
"Okay. But what you studying? How you gonna pay for it? This is money Dwayne."
"Damn." i started to think for a moment. "I screwed up." a sad facial expression appeared on my face.
"What?"
"Oh man." i started rubbing my hands together. "I gotta go." i left the room and went downstairs.
"Dwayne!" She followed me.
"Dominique please give me a chance to fix this." i left the house, got in my stepmom's car and left.
I drove to McCarthy to go talk to Mr.Cane. When i got to his class there was a class change.
"Hey look who it is." he said greeting me.
"Hey. Where's Chase?"
"He was moved to B building."
"Oh nice. Got a minute?"
"Yeah whats up?" he let me in and closed the door.

Dominique
When he left i just went home. I didnt even want to worry myself today. Its thr last day of my short break and i tend to spend it relaxed.
As I sat in my car listening to music the thought of Dwayne came up and the thing about him fixing something. Fixing what? What did he do? Next thing i know i find myself parked infront of McCarthy watching him leave the school.
"What did you do?" i thought to myself.
After he left i went in and went to go see his coach.
"Hey." a kid said to me as i walked into the gym.
"Hey where is Coach G?" i asked.
"Right here on my lap." he said laughing and sticking his tounge out.
"Im sorry i dont talk to little boys with little di-"
"Hey!" Coach G said delighted to see me. We gave each other a hug. "How are you? Man its been years."
"Im great actually. How about you?"
"Im pretty good myself. What brings you here?"
"Dwayne. I was wondering if he came to see you."
"Oh. No he didn't. Is everything okay?"
"Yeah."
"Im guessing you guys are back together."
"Yeah."
"Nice. I wanna be there for the wedding." he said laughing.
"Sure thing. Do you mind if i get your number if anything?"
"No not at all."
I handed him my phone and he put his number in.
"Thank you. Have a good day." i said hugging him.
"No problem. Dont be a stranger."
I walked out to run into Mr. Cane and Mr. Chase.
"Well isnt it the duo."
"Diamond." Mr. Chase said slightly shocked.
"Its me." i said.
"What are you doing here?" Mr. Cane said.
"No reason. Did you see Dwayne today?"
"Possibly."
"I know you did. His name is on the sign in sheet with your name next to it." i said crossing my arms.
"What makes you think that wasn't just to get in. He probably went to another teacher, Ms. Sherlock."
"Chase?" i looked at him
"Nope."
"Fine. You win this time." i said uncrossing my arms. "Im gonna go and relax." i said with a smile.
I gave them both a hug and left.
When i left i went home for a couple of hours then went to the gym to see if Dwayne was there. No sign of his car.
I walked in to see a coach and some kids playing.
"Hello. Good afternoon." i said walking up to the coach.
"Good afternoon. Can i help you?"
"Yeah. Do you know where Coach G is?"
"He's not here. He said he had some important business to attend to."
"Do you know what?"
"All he said it was something with one of his former players. Sounded urgent."
"Thank you." i said with a smile.
"No problem."
I walked out the gym and called Dwayne. Straight to voicemail.
I called Coach G. Straight to voicemail.
"Whatever." i said to myself and went home.
The thought of Dwayne went through my mind so many times that i got a headache from trying to ignore it.
