xiii. I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH MAGIC

i've never seen such magic in the way someone does nothing. he looks over at me and i feel at home. his eyes are grey like a storm and green like the trees and i've never wanted to get so swept up in a storm like his before. i've never seen such a laugh or heard such a voice. it's a warm blanket for my ears. everything is safe and warm. in a room full of people to observe i choose him. i'd choose him every time even if he wouldn't choose me back.
i've never felt such magic in the heart that beats in my chest. it's the calm before or after the storm but i feel safe. i feel prepared for once. i know what's coming and i know how this could happen and i'm waiting. i want to scream it from the rooftops and write about it 'till my fingers bleed. i want to turn his physical being into an art piece for everyone to admire. there wouldn't be one bad angle, or one bad sentence, or one bad note. it'd all be magical from any angle, with any word, with any sound; because he's magical no matter the way you see him.
