*NIALLS POV* I make it to the club or whatever it’s called at around 8. Harry’s performing at 9, I think. After I was done at the gym, I went home and took a shower. I changed into some black jeans, a white fitted shirt and a green snapback. The usual attire. Once, I make it inside the club, the music is blaring and there are tons of people in here. I wonder if Jade’s here yet. I wonder what she’s wearing. I grab drink from the bar, not even bothering to pay for it. I make my way towards the back of the place and I lean against the wall. I close my eyes and think about Jade. I don’t like her. I don’t like her. I don’t like her. No matter how many times I say it, I know it’s not true. Ugh, I can’t like her. This isn’t good. I should just leave, this isn’t helping. I kick myself off the wall and trudge to the back exit. Just as I am about to open the door, I am pushed up against the wall. I look down to see Alex. She’s biting her lip and looking at me with hunger in her eyes. Shit, not now. “Hey Niall.” She winks. “Um. Hi.” I mumble. I try to push her off of me but she doesn’t budge. “Come on, you know you miss me. I know you miss this.” She reaches down to touch my crotch through my jeans. I can’t help the groan that leaves my mouth seconds later. “Told ya.” She says, seductively. “Alex, st-.” I am cut off by Alex’s, literally smashing onto mine. Before I realize what I am doing, my hand travels down to her butt and my hand grips a fistful of her hair. My hand slips underneath her very short skirt. It’s disgusting how girls barely wear any clothes, but I can’t complain right now. I jolted back into reality when someone screams, and I mean screams. I turn my head to the screamer. It’s Addison. Fuck, no. “YOU FUCKING PRICK.” She barks, pushing Alex into the wall and dragging me by my ear. She kicks the back door open and slams me against the wall, pinning me. “WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?” She spits in my face. “Get the fuck off of me.” I spat back. “Not until you tell me what the hell you’re doing.” She says, calmly. “What do you mean?” I act dumb. “Fucking idiot. With Jade. Have you lost your bloody mind?” She starts to scream again. “If I tell you, you can’t tell anyone. Especially not her.” Why am I even telling her? “It’s that bad?” She breaths. I nod. It is that bad. “Okay, so at that first party, you remember the first one she was at? Harry was talking to me on the couch. He was talking smack. And he kept telling me that no one will ever truly love me. Like no one. So I egged him on. I told him someone could. And I picked Jade. Well we both picked Jade. He said, if I can get her to fall in love with me and I break up with her right after she admits it, Harry he’s going to pay me. And you know I need the cash. Bonus cash if I get her to sleep with me.” I say, not looking her in the eyes. I tell her about Harry and mine conversation at the gym today. I finally meet her eyes and I see there are tears starting to form. “You’re disgusting. You truly are. You’ll break her.  Niall, do you not realize she has fucking feelings. You better tell her. Now.” She finally says something. “I can’t I need the money.” “Your fucking pathetic I hope you know that.” She spits. She walks to the door and slams it shut. “I know.” I barely whisper. I sit outside in the alley for a couple of minutes and I go back inside. I need a drink. I need to get drunk. To subside the pain that’s swelling up in my stomach. *JADES POV* Harry comes on the stage at 9. I don’t know why I am still here. Addison texted me saying she wasn’t feeling well and that she left. Some friend right? Harry sits on the stool directly behind the microphone stand and a slow beat starts to sound through the speakers. Harry grips the stand and starts to sing. His voice is so lovely. I listen to lyrics closely and I instantly fall in love. Once he finishes he says the song is called Don’t Let Me Go. He does a little bow and he winks at the crowd. Okay, well I had enough of this shit. I leave a $20 on the table besides my 3 empty glasses of vodka. Since Addison was my ride I had to walk all the way home, great. I push the front door open and the wind breezes through my hair, and I’m so glad it’s already October. The breeze feels nice at first, but then reality hits me and I hug myself trying to get myself warm. The sky is dark and there a few stars littering the sky. The scenery is quite beautiful. A single raindrop hits my cheek and I stare up into the sky. “You got to be fucking me.” I mutter under my breath. Just my luck, it starts to down pour and practically run the rest of the way back to my dorm. Once, I get back to my dorm I hopped in the shower and I slipped on some fuzzy socks, comfy sweats and a tank top. I just want to be comfy. I flop down on my bed and I stare up at the ceiling. What am I going to do about Niall? Are we still even together? Do I still want to be with him? I’m so confused. Fucking college drama. I thought I left all the drama back at high school. I grab my sketch book and a pen. I flip to a clear page and begin to draw whatever comes to mind. Wow. Who would have guessed? It’s Niall. I’m jolted back to reality when someone is pounding their fists on my door. I throw the sketch pad on the bed and I go to open the door. “Niall?” He’s leaning against the doorframe for support. “Jade, you look so pretty.” He slurs his words. He’s drunk. “Niall, your drunk.” “No, I’m not.” He mimics. “Yes, you are. Now leave. I have nothing to say to you.” “Oh come on Jade.” He playfully hits my arm, pushing me out of the way. He then flops down on my bed and closes his eyes. Ugh, freaking prick. He grumbles and sits back up. He begins rub his back. “Ouch.” He whines. “What?” “I landed on something.” He mumbles, picking up my sketch pad from underneath him. “Oh that’s mine.” I say, reaching out to grab it. He’s too quick and puts it behind his back. “No, what is it?” “It’s nothing.” I attempt to grab it away from him again. But he stands up and holds it up high in the air. “What is it?” He looks in my eyes. His eyes are bloodshot and glossy.
