*Jade’s POV*

It’s been a week since my life went down the drain.

It’s been a week since the blonde boy I was in love with shattered my heart to pieces.

It’s been a week since I attempted something I regret.

It’s been a week since I got fired from that job I applied for I guess I forgot to go in to work.

Oh well. Harry hasn’t left my side since that day my life got sucked out of me and blown to pieces. All seven days I got countless messages from Niall. Of course I didn’t reply to any of them.

I deleted every single message and deleted his contact.

I know it’s hard to move on, it’s very hard but I need to force myself to. The first few days I cried and I didn’t eat at all. But Harry was there and he helped me get through it.

I’ve missed so much school that they sent me a letter that I need to pick up the slack or I’ll be kicked out. Isn’t that just great?

I almost just want to give up and just drop out of school but that’s not helping anyone. If I do drop out I’ll have to back in with my Grandma. And I don’t want to go back, I had no freedom. Every Friday when I wanted to go out with friends I was forced to go to bingo night with my Grandma. I was  living the life wasn’t I?

Lately I’ve been working on some art work. That’s what I did at those bingo ‘parties’ I brought my sketch book and drew up some designs. I’ve always wanted to be an artist. But everyone said I didn’t have what it took to be one. I also wanted to be a makeup artist.

When I was little my father, before he went insane, he let me use him as my canvas for makeup. But now those memories are gone and I hate him. I hate that bastard I call my father. Okay, Jade stop thinking of him. Back to the present.

"Jade?” Harry waves his hand in front of my face.

“What? Sorry I spaced.” I blink.

“I said how would feel about moving somewhere else?”

“What do you mean?”

“Like having your own place, like an apartment.”

“I never really thought about it. I would love to have my own place, but I don’t think I’ll be able to afford one.”

“I could help you.” “Harry no. I don’t want you spending money on me.”

“But I want to. Jade your like my best friend. I would do anything for you.” He smiles. “I could help you with the first few months of rent until you get back on your feet.” He continues.

“I don’t know.” I consider my options. I would love to have my own place but I don’t like the idea of Harry spending a lot of money on me.

“Let’s look at apartments shall we. I had one in mind that I thought you might like.” He grabs my hand and stands me up on my feet.

“Wait you mean like right now?”

“Yes, now come on let’s go! I told the guy we would be there by one, it’s now 12:40.” He checks his watch.

"You planned this?”

"Yes now get dress and let’s go!”

“Fine.” I whine. “I’ll be in the car, hurry.” He smiles before exiting my room. Wow I can’t believe him, I smirk.

I quickly change out of my sweats I’ve stayed in for a week. I pulled on some leggings and a flannel.

*** “Okay, so here’s the place.” He pulls into a lot. The building is tall but small. It looks modern but has an older vibe to it.
