Taking Chances

Chapter 49

"Jade, I'm so sorry." I plead with her, she hasn't said anything for the past three minutes.

"Niall, I'm scared."

"I know baby, I know. Just breathe." I run my fingers through her hair.

"It hurts." She cries, her head is bleeding uncontrollably and she keeps whimpering.

"SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!" I scream, she's losing a lot of blood and I don't know what to do. We both lay here in the alley alone and cold. Just someone please help.

"I love you, but I'm tired." She yawns and shuts her eyes.

No no no no. "No, don't shut your eyes. Keep them open for me. Babe, stay with me." I shake her gently.

"PLEASE HELP! SOMEONE." I scream even though it's no use, no one can hear me. No one will come.

I softly pick Jade up as best as I can, my body is aching with pain but I ignore it.

"Niall?" She calls out to me softly.

"I'm here, I'm here."

She snuggles closer to my chest and breathes softly, trying to slow down her beating heart.

"Niall? Mate?" I hear a voice call. It seems there's always someone calling out to me. "Niall!" It screams louder. I must be fucking losing my mind.

"Niall? Where the fuck are you?" Harry screams.

"Harry?"

He finally comes into view and his eyes go wide. "Did you.....?" His eyes trailing to Jade.

"Oh my, of course not! I would never hurt her! It was Drew." I spit.

"Zayn called me. Told me to hurry and find you." Harry speaks, gently taking Jade out of my arms, I start to protest but stop, realizing I'm to weak.

"He's a fucking traitor. He held her back while Drew...." I couldn't finish with out the images replying in my head.

"We need to take her to the hospital." We hurry and get into Harry's car and drive to the nearest hospital that's actually 3 minutes away, of course help was that close.

As soon as we pull up to the entrance I jump out and get Jade out. I'm not taking any chances. Jade's eyes are closed and her breathing is getting slower and slower. Fucking hell! I run inside with Jade in my arms and Harry following closely behind me.

"Someone help! She's unconscious and she needs help!" I scream. Every person has there eyes on me. "Please!"

"Sir, what's the problem?" A nurse comes up to me, concern etched onto her face.

"She.. she.. she got into a accident and hit her head really hard. Her breathing.. I don't know, she's not waking up! Just help her dammit!"

"Okay, Doctor help!" Someone takes Jade out of my arms and once again my vision gets dizzy. Not now.

"Sir? Are you okay?" The nurse nudges me.

"Niall? Mate?" Another voice interrupts.

That's the last thing I hear before everything goes black.

*Jades POV*

My eyes flutter open and I have no idea where I am. The walls are white and my arms is strapped to a IV system.

"Hello?" I call out. My head starts to hurt as soon as I speak.

"Jade?" Harry pops his head in the room.

"Harry? What the hell am I doing here?" I question sitting up.

"You don't remember? You have a major concussion." He sits down next to me.

Memories from last night start to flood back into my mind. Drew. Blood. Niall.

He tried to keep me safe. But that didn't work.

"Where's Niall?" I question I need to see him.

Harry looks down and doesn't answer me.

"Harry? Where is he? What happened? Is he okay?"

"He.. yeah he's outside." He stumbles for words. Why? He never stumbles.

"I would like to speak with him."

"I don't. I don't know if that's a good idea, he.. he doesn't.. never mind I'll bring him in." Harry gets up and leaves utterly confused.

Soon enough the door opens and Niall walks in.

His eyes are red and puffy.

"Niall." My heart breaks when he looks at me.

"I'm so sorry Jade." He sits down on the bed next to me.

"Listen, it's not your fau-.." I'm cut off by Niall laughing.

"Not my fault? You can't be serious!" His voice booms.

"Jade, look where you are! A hospital! Look at you! Your broken, your hurt! All because of me. It's my fault that your here. He could've killed you." He cries out.

"Niall, calm down." I place my hand on his shoulder but he shakes it off.

"I'm done." He breathes and my heart shatters once again.

"I'm so sorry Jade. I keep hurting you. I keep bringing you back into my life and hurting you. I'm done. I can't put you through it again. I'm so sorry." He looks at me broken, just like me right now.

"But, we can work this out!" I try to reason with him, I can't lose him again.

"No, no we can't. Ill just tear you down more. you deserve so much better. Someone like Luke, who will actually make you happy and not end up in a fucking hospital for Christ sake!" His voice starts to raise.

"I don't want Luke! I want you!" My voice matching his level.

"It's for the best Jay. Maybe sometime when my life isn't so fucked up we will be together but right now, I can't, we can't."

"Your leaving me? Again?" I accuse, he's leaving just like that.

"Yea, I need to get away for awhile. For everyone's sake."

So I won't see him again.

"I love you, always." He kisses my forehead and walks out the door, out of my life.

Okay so, I only have like 3-4 chapters left:(

And sadly I'm not making a sequel....

But good news is I think I'm gonna make a new stories all about the other guys! I'm not sure yet but I'm planning it out! they all will be Alternate Universe so one direction won't exist in them! :)

The next story will be about Harry xxx
