"So, Hunter, how is school going?" My mom asked as she took a sip from her glass of champagne. We were unfortunately having a family dinner tonight. The table was completely silent other than the clink clacking of our silverware hitting our plates.
"Fine." I told her, uncomfortably. She sighed and turned to erica who was pushing her food around on the plate.
"And what have you been doing lately? You're never home, so i assume you must be up to something important." She said rudely. Erica rolled her eyes and scoffed. Then put on a fake smile.
"You know there's a reason that I'm never home." Erica said smiling at mother.
"And what about you Seth? What've you been up to?" Mom said brushing off Erica's remark. Seth looked up from his phone.
"Uh, nothing." He responded and went back to his phone. Mom looked frustrated.
"Ryan, should we tell the kids the news now?" She asked our dad. He only nodded proudly.
"Well, we are going on a vacation!" Mom said enthusiastically. But no one seemed fazed by her announcement.
"We go on one every year." Seth said to mom bluntly.
"But this is the first vacation that will be featured on our show!" Mom said clapping.
"Wanna know where?" Dad asked trying to get excitement out of us.
"Where?" I sighed not really caring. A vacation just meant time away from harry.
"St. Bart's!" Mom said.
"Again? We went 4 years ago though!" Erica said disappointingly.
"But this year you're taking friends with." Dad said.
"Seth, you can take Jorge, Erica you can take that nice girl Frenchie, and Hunter you can take Brenna and Jaden!" Mom said smiling. When mom said Jadens name, I panicked. I would have to speed up on my apology to Jaden.
"Whoa whoa! Why the hell does Hunter get to bring 2 people?!" Seth said angrily.
"Because this is also a graduation present." Mom stated.
"When do we leave?" I asked.
"4 weeks. Right after school ends for you." Dad answered.
"Do Jaden and Brenna know yet?" I asked. Mom shook her head. I didn't tell them that me and Jaden weren't talking to each other.
"Their parents are telling them tonight." Dad said. I nodded and we all went back to the quiet and awkward family dinner.

"4 weeks?" Harry asked over the phone. I was laying on my bed doing my homework and on the phone with harry, telling him about the vacation situation.
"Yeah, and we'll be gone for 2 and a half weeks." I complained.
"I don't think i can go that long without seeing you, princess." He said. I smiled at the nickname he gave me that Ive grown to like.
"I don't think I can either." I told him, and I swear, I heard him smile on the other side of the line. He breathed through his nose and grunted in frustration.
"Ill see what I can do about it. I guess I can see if the boys wanna go on a vacation as well." he suggested.
"I don't know if that work. Apparently the vacations gonna be on the show, so there will be cameras around." I said.
"But aren't your friends going too? Just say that you're going to spend some time with them." He said.
"Okay. That might work, unless Erica rats us out." I said.
"Why would she do that?" he sounded surprised.
"Um...Have you met her?!" I asked,
"But, not if Lou comes with. Than she will be occupied." He said.
"And Seth?" I asked.
"Your brother? Why would he tell on you?" Harry asked.
"Hes a dick!" I said. I heard harry laugh.
"Wow! Sibling love!" He said still laughing.
"Well he is. And Erica is worse." I told him defensively.
"I'm sure your right. Its just, it seems a bit odd that your entire family seems terrible. They cant all be that bad." Harry said teasingly.
"Trust me they are." I said.
"Than how did you turn out to be such a angel?" he asked. I smiled and did a little laughed.
"Dont worry, babe, I'll figure it out. Talk to you later?" Harry said.
"Alright, bye." I said before hanging up the phone. I continued to finish the rest of my homework. Then, my phone started to buzz.
OMG! Yes!! My parents just told me!!! B
Do you know if Jaden is coming? H

I lingered at her text. Then I got up and ran to my parents room and banged on the door. My mom came to the door looking angry,
"What Hunter?" She asked trying to be calm.
"Is everyone coming on the trip?" I asked frantically.
"What do you mean everyone? Your friends are, they both called me and told me they were fine with it. I haven't heard from Erica's friend Frenchie though." She said sounding tired.
"Jaden said she could go?" I asked.
"Her mother was on board with it." Mom said. I nodded to her and went back to my room, unsure of my feelings. I resumed my conversation with Brenna.
My mom said shes going. H
Hoorah!!! She must've gotten over your little fight! B
I hope so. I freaking miss her! H

A hopeful smile stretched across my lips. If she hasn't forgiven me, this trip would just be weird for everyone.
