I got a fruit salad and a water then walked outside because it was way too many people in that lunchroom.at I found a nice spot outside next to this tree and sat down on the grass. It was a pretty day. The end of summer sun shining bright and the chill wind from the start of autumn. It feels nice. There are other people outside but none are close to me or to where I can hear their conversations.
"Why are you sitting all alone?" a smooth voice asked.
I looked up and this guy smiled. He was...beautiful. He was brown skinned, dimples, a nice smile, and pretty tall. He had on a jean button up shirt rolled to his elbows, and a leather vest on top of that. Some khakis shorts and some all white Jordans. Don't ask me what kind, because I don't know, I just know they were Jordans. But what really caught my eyes was the diamonds shining from his ears. Damn, tryna blind folks?

I shrugged my shoulders. "No reason."
"Mind if I sit with you?" he asked.
I shock my head no and smiled. He then sat down but not too close to me. I don't know this beautiful creature...just yet.
"Hey, my name's Trey by the way." He put out his hand.
"Dria." I responded shaking his hand.
"So Dria, this is your first day huh?" He asked as he took a bit of his apple.
"Yea. Just moved here." I said eating my fruit.
"What do you think of it so far?"
I thought for a second. "It's okay, I guess. Just big."
"Not really. It's only about almost eight hundred or so. Your old school wasn't big?"
I laughed. "No. It was a private school that had about three hundred to four hundred students there."
"Oh, well I hope you find your way around. It gets kinda confusing sometimes." He said with a smile.
I laughed. "I hope so too."
"So what's your next period?"
"Um..." I took out my schedule and read my next class. "Choir." I mentally smiled. I might not have the best voice, but that ain't gone stop me from singing. Shit, it's fun and I love it.
"Me too. I could walk you there, if you don't mind? It's like on the other side of the school."
I smiled. "Sure, that would be nice."
RINGGG!
"We better go. Choir teacher don't play." He laughed then got up.
"Yea." I got up as well.
We throw our trash away and walked to the choir room.
"So what grade are you in?" Trey asked.
"Junior."
"Nice, so am I. Who's your home room?"
"Mr. Neverson." I replied. I didn't have to look at my schedule for that. I had a teacher at my old school with the same name.
