"Je pense que vous devriez lui parler. (I think you should talk to him)" Issa said to me talking about Que.
When we are around a lot of people and we don't want them to know what we are talking about, we have our conversation in French.
"Pourquoi devrais-je? (why should I)"
He gave me that, why-the-fuck-did-you-just-ask-that-question look.
"D'accord! (Okay)"
"Don't get loud with me girl. I will beat that ass, you know better." He said.
Issa is older then me so he plays the big brother role a lot. He even puts Alex in his place from time to time.
"Why y'all niggas always wanna speak a different language and shit? This is American." Issa's friend, Jayden, said.
I rolled my eyes. "Bruh, you just mad you don't know what we're saying."
"That's because, last time y'all niggas wanted to be fake and talk about a brother."
"What makes you think we were talking about you?" Issa asked.
"Because y'all was like something something Jayden something something. I'm not stupid."
Issa and I just started dying. He is too funny.
"Well then maybe you should learn French and be in the conversation."I told him.
"Or maybe not. That shit is hard! I thought Spanish was hard, but damn."
"At first, I'll be honest, it is hard. But once you get the hang of the rules and grammar, it's not so bad." Issa said.
"Still not taking it."
Someone's phone started vibrating and Trey looked at his then answered.
"What's up?" he said.
He waited a few seconds then got up to talk in a different room.
We all have to leave pretty soon, so we decided to chill in the hotel lobby and talk.
Issa and them are leaving later because they still didn't hit the club up yet.

"Ima miss you D." Issa said as he hugged me tight.
"I'll miss you too." I hugged him back just as tight.
"Have a safe trip." He said once we let go.
"Okay, you too. And don't get into trouble either."
"I'll try not to."
Once everyone was done with their goodbyes, Joslyn, Joel, Maurice, Khris, Trey, Brandon, and Shanae got on the bus. I was last to get on because I took so long saying bye to Issa.
When I got on, it was packed. So I looked for Trey and some girl was sitting by him. I cocked my ear barrow up and looked for a different seat. Luckily there was one by this older dude but he was nice looking.
He had weaves, dark skinned, tall and musclier built, beautiful smile. He was wearing a navy blue suit with a white shirt underneath and a blue and white swirled tie. He was reading some book.
"Can I seat here?" I asked him.
He looked up from his book and smiled at me. "Sure." And a very deep voice.
He moved his bag and I sat down. "Thanks. I'm Dria by the way."
"Lance, nice to meet you." He put his hand out and I shook it in response.
"Nice to meet you too."
The whole ride we made small talk about different things. He is a CEO of some company in New York and wanted to take a small vacation and didn't want people to know. So he took the grey hound and he's going to Virginia.
*TREY'S POV*
"Hi, Tiffany." She said as she put her hand out.
I smiled and shook her hand. "Trey."
"Nice to meet you. Was this your first time in New York?" she asked.
"No, my third. What about you?"
"My first."
The whole ride, ol girl was trying her hardest to flirt. But let me tell you, she failed, badly. To be honest, I was barely paying attention to her. I was more focused on ol dude that Dria was sitting by. They looked like they were in a deep conversation and laughing and shit. What's so funny?
Once we reached Virginia, that dude got off and I couldn't be more happy.
"Sorry, but I have a girlfriend. But nice talking to you tho."
"You too." She replied feeling some type of way.
I got up and sat by Dria. She looked at me then back at the window.
"So, you're not going to say nothing?" I asked her.
"What is there to say? Plus it seems like you're the one that has something to say." She said.
I think it's really strange how she knows when there's something wrong.
"What?"
"Trey, please don't act stupid with me. I know there's something wrong with you. Are you going to tell me or not?" she asked looking at me.
"You know what, there is something wrong with me. So what's up with you and ol dude? Y'all was having good conversation, huh?"
"Are you fucking serious? What the fuck are you trying to say?"
"That y'all niggas was having a good ass conversation. He had you laughing and everything."
"The fuck outta here with that shit bruh." She said then turned back to the window.
"Bruh, fuck it." I said then leaned back in my seat.
She don't wanna tell me then fine.
***
I opened my eyes and it was dark outside. I looked over at Dria and she was knocked out on my shoulder so I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer. She didn't wake up tho and we stayed like that for awhile.
No matter what, that's my baby.
