Chapter 24

Then my name popped on the screen. It said "Dria, please come down." I looked around to see if they were talking about another Dria. Then the screen said "Alexandria Harris, yes you." That made the crowd laugh a bit. I got up as all eyes were on me. But it was kinda hard because it was dark and only one little light was on.

I made my way to the center then Trey came out. He grabbed the mic as he grabbed my hand with his other one.

"Hey Dria." He smiled then started singing that one song he sang to me at my party. (Chapter 10)

Once he was done with the song he said. "Will you go to prom with me?"

My smiled faded. "No." I said.

He looked sad. People in the crowd said oooh, and some thirsty girls said they would and what not. Trey looked down and I laughed.

He really thought I was serious tho. "Of course I would." He looked back up at me and smiled.

He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me. "I thought you were serious tho." He said when he pulled back.

I rolled my eyes, he's funny.

"Come on." He put the mic back down and we walked out the gym. By the time we got out the door, the crowd inside calmed down.

"Why didn't you tell me you were going to ask?" I asked him.

"Because it wouldn't have been special or a surprise if I did. Duh.."

I laughed. "Well I'm glad you asked. It was really cute but for real tho. Can I get that song on my phone or something?"

He thought for a while. "Maybe, it depends on if I record it. Why do you want it anyway?" he asked.

"Because it's cute and my boyfriend sang it for me, twice. Why wouldn't I?"

"I don't know, maybe because your boyfriend is crazy or something."

"Yea, I think he is."

He looked at me. "Oh shut up." He said with a puppy dog face.

I laughed a little. "Awww, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." I said hugging him. Knowing inside I wanted to die laughing.

"Can I have a kiss to make it better?"

I pulled back and smiled. "Of course....not. Be a big boy."

"Aw, that's cold bruh." He said.

I laughed and we both just walked off.

"So you're going with Trey to prom huh?" Susie asked.

I laughed. "Yea, who are you going with?"

"You'll see." She had with this big smile on her face.

I rolled my eyes. "Okay."

"Hey y'all, what's up?" Joslyn said as she sat down next to us.

"Hey. What's up?" I said.

"Hey." Susie said.

"What y'all talking about?" Joslyn said.

"Prom." Susie said.

"Oh yea, that's right. Dria's going with the sexy Mr. Neverson." They both laughed.

"Whatever. Who are you going with?" I asked.

"Oh, Joel. He told me his friend was on his phone and liked the girls picture. So I'm good." Joslyn said as she blanked out.

I looked at Susie and she looked at me. What the hell was Joslyn doing?

"Um, are you okay?" Susie asked her.

"Oh, yea. Just daydreaming. Prom is about to be FUN!"

"Why you say that?" I asked.

"Because after prom, me and Joel are going to his car and ima suck thatnigga's dick for MONNNAAAAYYYYYY!"

Susie and I started cracking up. No she didn't.

"Hey, what's so funny." Joel said as he sat by Joslyn.

And she was quick to answer to. "Nothing."

He rolled his eyes. "So how are you guys doing?" he asked.

Susie and I still haven't gained control of our laughter. "Pretty....um....good." I replied still kinda laughing.

Joel looked at us like we were crazy.

Then Khris came and sat by us. It's like everyone is skipping class today.

"What's up guys?" she said.

We all said hey then started a new conversation about the show "Awkward" that comes on tonight.

"OMG, Matty is like so cute. I wish she would've never broke up with him. I cried when Matty was crying." I told them.

(AN:That show is sooo good.)

"Girl bye, suck it up. Collin is sexy! And he speaks Spanish." Khris said.

"But it's not even Spanish, it's German!" Susie corrected.

"Whatever, it still sounds pretty." She said.

I rolled my eyes. Then Maurice came up to our table and stood behind Khris as she turned to face him.

He started singing to her. Oh, another prom invitation!

"Baby you're a winner didn't even take you 12 rounds..."

Awww, this is so cute! I looked over at Khris and she was cheesing hard.

"Will you go to prom with me baby?" he asked when he was done.

She got up and kissed him. "Yes!" she said and they hugged.

Awww, that was so cute! They're so freaking cute together!
