Chapter 4 (Part 1)

Beep...Beep...Beep...

I groaned as my alarm went off. I poked my head outta my covers and hit the snooze button then put my head underneath my pillow to try and go back to sleep.

"Dria honey, time to get up." My mom said as she gently shaking me.

I poked my head out again and turned to face her. She smiled.

"Come on child, you're gonna be late for school." She said as she stood up and walked out the door.

I got out of bed and walked into my bathroom. When I looked into the mirror, I realized I still had my clothes on from yesterday. I don't remember what happened last night. I sighed then turned on the shower. I walked into my closet and picked out some clothes: some knee-length jean shorts, white v-neck and my black converses. I went back into the bathroom then got in the shower.

When I was done I got out and brushed my teeth. Then I put on my clothes and put my hair in a messy bun. I grabbed my blue iPhone off the charger and put it in my purse. I then put all my books in my backpack and grabbed a red jacket on my way out my room.

"So what happened last night?" I asked my mom as I walked into the kitchen.

"You fell asleep doing your homework." She said as she sat a blueberry muffin and some orange juice I front of me.

"Oh, so how did Alex get home last night?" I started eating the muffin.

"Once he couldn't get ahold of you, he called me. I told him you fell asleep and then I went and got him. He left early this morning tho."

"So he got his car back?"

"Yea, last night. He couldn't wait to leave this morning." She laughed.

"Sounds just like him." I ate the last of my muffin then grabbed my stuff. "Well I'm out, I'll see you later. Bye mommy." I said as I kissed her cheek.

"Bye baby, have fun."

I walked out and got into my car.

I pulled up to the school ten minutes later and I was EARLY. The cleaning dude was still cleaning, that's how early. So, I just sat in my car and pulled out my phone. I went to twitter and saw that Gucci was bashin people on twitter. Haah, that nigga ain't got nothin else better to do. I laughed one more time then closed out. I then saw that I had a few missed calls and messages. I saw that the calls were from Charlie and Alex. I saw some messages from Charlie, Alex, and....a number I don't know.

Unknown: Well, I hope this is the right number lol.

I laughed then replied.

Me: Who's this?

Two minutes later.

Unknown: So you just gone give me yo number, then not remember? Shame Dria, shame.

Me: Hey, I don't even give it out. So who is this?

Unknown: You'll find out sooner or later baby :)

Tf? Who in the hell is....it better not be him. Thinking I know who it is, I call the number.

"Hey, you reached Trey. Sorry I couldn't get to you, you see I'm busy. But leave a message and I'll think about listening to it. Yuuupppp!" The voicemail said.

"OOOO, I knew it!" I said out loud as I ended the call.

I grabbed my stuff then locked my car up as I got out. I walked into the school and went to my locker. I opened it then put my backpack and purse into it. I had like 30 or so minutes until the first bell rang. I walked out the exit door to the back of the school and through the gate. Then I walked in front of the bleachers and sat down. It was a beautiful morning. The sun was now rising and the air was warm and fresh. Ugh, I could stay here for years. I haven't been this relaxed in years.

Every since my mom got a divorce, it's just been outta whack and stressful. I wish things could turn around and go on the right path. I closed my eyes to feel a little more relaxation.

"It's a beautiful morning, isn't it?"

I opened my eyes and saw Trey sitting in front of me looking at the sky. I smiled.

"Yea, it is." I replied.

He turned to face me. "Good morning baby."

"Well, good morning stranger."

He frowned. "Stranger?"

I laughed. "Yea. I barely know anything about you, so you're a stranger."

His smile got wider. "I guess I will have to change that. What are you doing this weekend?"

My eyebrows went up. "Are you asking me out?"

He laughed. "I guess I am."

Lord knows how much I wanted to go on a date with his fine ass. Damn, what a girl supposed to do?

"Sorry, I don't really date."

"Well let's make it a friend thing. Get to know each other better." His smile never left his face.

I smiled back. "Sure, that would be great."

"Nice."

We talked for about ten more minutes then school started. We went to our lockers then went our separate ways. Time for math :(

Once math was over, it was time for English. And to my surprise Trey was in this class, I didn't even know that. I grabbed a seat in the back corner by this other girl. She was light skinned, kinda short (but not shorter than me), she had long black hair and had really puffy cheeks. She reminded me of Theodore from Alvin and the chipmunks. We spent the whole class period taking notes on 'A Raisin in the Sun'. I freaking love this movie!

Once English ended, it was time for Spanish and the girl I sat by in English was in that class. I took a seat in the front row and then the teacher explained that we had a project to do. She had assigned us partners and we had to make a video of a conversation in Spanish with our partner. My partner was Khris, the girl that's in my English class. She's really koo tho. We spent like the whole period just clownin around.

After Spanish it was time for History. I took a seat in the back row. Then the teacher played a older style movie. I fell asleep, lol.

Next was Chemistry, and I was ready because after this was lunch. Yes... (I love food!) I walked into the class and sat in the middle. More students came in and then the teacher started to talk about a project or experiment we are going to do. What is with all these teachers today. It's either a project, or movie -__-

We were assigned partners and mines was Joslyn. She was also in my English class. She was dark skinned and, also, taller than me. She had medium length hair, and she was average sized. But she's crazy, lol. She's koo tho.

Once we finished the experiment, we just clowned the rest of the period. I'm telling you, this day was more fun than yesterday.

"Hey Dria!" Susie said coming up to me. I didn't even know she was in this class.

"Oh hi Susie." I said with a smile.

"So how's your day going? Because yesterday was a little too...." She started.

"Much." I finished. We both laughed.

"Yea, it was." She turned to Joslyn. "Hi Joslyn." She smiled.

"Hey, Susie. How's it going?" Joslyn asked.

"Pretty good, but Mr. Okens this morning tho. That dude is crazy."

They both laughed.

For the last ten or so minutes of class, us three just sat and talked. Well...and clowned lol.

I'm loving this school so far.
