"I'm doing just fine-OW! Shit, that hurt! See?! This is why I should be the one hanging up curtains instead of putting a crib together!" Luke shouted.

Michael looked over his shoulder and sighed. Luke sat in he middle of the mess of parts for the crib. He held a screwdriver in his mouth as he tried to catch the blood dripping from his thumb, desperate to not get a single drop of the red liquid onto the white carpet.

Luke spit out the screwdriver and began yelling at Michael once again. "Come help me up!  I have a soccer ball for a stomach and I can't stand on my own!" Michael hurriedly got down from the chair he was standing on and lifted Luke to his feet. He ushered the fuming boy into the bathroom and set him on the counter.

"Let me look at it, please." Michael nearly whispered. He was afraid that if he spoke any louder it would set the pregnant boy into an angry flame. Michael gently took Luke's thumb into his hand, examining the cut. It was just a paper cut. Michael mentally laughed. Luke always over reacted.

Taking out a bandaid, specifically a Dora one since that was all that was left at the store ( according to Luke ) , Michael wrapped it around his boyfriend's bleeding finger. Just for extra measure, he kissed the top of Luke's thumb.

"Thank you." Luke said softly, hugging Michael as best as he could without squishing his little girls. Luke slid off the bathroom counter and waddled back to the room which would soon be the girls' nursery.

"If it would help, I can take the job with tools while you put up curtains. Just be careful on that chair, okay?" Luke nodded, smiling when Michael pressed a small, chaste kiss to his lips. It gave Luke enough motivation to even help Michael finish putting the crib together.

---------------

Yawning, Luke laid his head on Michael's shoulder, his wet hair dripping down his boyfriend's bare shoulder.

After working hard in the nursery, the two took a much needed shower together. It was relaxing and the girls must have enjoyed the warmth since the kicking ceased. Michael ordered a pizza and the two love birds watched some random romantic comedy that was playing on the tv. Michael couldn't remember the name of it but it had Steve Carell in it.

Luke looked up at Michael whose green eyes were focused on the screen. After a few minutes past of Luke intensely staring at Michael, he finally felt a pair of eyes on him. He looked down at Luke, smiling when seeing bright blue eyes peering up at him.

"You need anything, babe?" Luke smiled and nodded. "I'm a little tired and I think I should head to bed. The girls need some rest too. Do you think you can clean up for me?" Luke motioned to the empty pizza box , the paper plates and used napkins on the coffee table. Luke leaned closer to Michael, whispering softly, "I can suck you off after you clean up."

"Well I was planning on cleaning up without bribery but okay, that works too." Michael chuckled, looking back at Luke. "Why were you whispering?"
Luke scoffed as if it were obvious. "We don't need the girls hearing such things, now do we?" Michael laughed.

"I love you, dork."

"I love you too, loser."

Dear Cutie Pies,

This weekend we worked on your room. We painted the walls a light yellow and it's so pretty. I'm sure you will love your room as much as I do. Yellow and pink are such beautiful colors.
It gets lonely on the days when Michael is working and I'm not.
Maybe we should adopt a pet!

Love you, sweethearts.
