MARY
I woke up, suddenly full of energy.
"Emily! I had a weird dream! Dean and Sam were there and... Emily? Emily!" I look around the room. Where is she? I notice her jacket is missing. Jack I think.
----------------------------------------------
I open the back doors to Jacks office, because I took a short cut to get here.
"Emily?" I'm feeling energized, I want to tell Emily about my dream. It was so weird and funny, and...
BOOM! I look around, my heart racing from being jump scared. Right next to me is a newly formed hole in the wall.
"Don't move." I hear someone say. Mumbling follows. "Don't move and you don't get hurt." I look around the room, and to my right is Emma, right next to Emily. Emily is all tied up and has a thick layer of duct tape around her mouth. Her hands are enclosed in glass bubbles, to prevent her from morphing.
Emma is holding Emily's arms (which are behind her back) and a gun in the other hand.
"Emma, it's me, man. What are you doing?"
"Shut up!"
"You're not my dad!" I say, as I launch toward her, fist held high. She shoots at me but misses, and I freeze. I can't hurt her.
"Emma, just stop whatever your doing. And is this is a prank, I swear, man."
"Come over here, Mary. All you have to do to stop this is knock me out, or better." She held Emily in front of her like a shield, but is now backing out from behind her. "I know you can do it. I'm open, Mary."
I think about the situation. Here is Emma and Emily. I was told Emma is coming here, with Mackenzie. She did something to her, and she is about to do something to either Emily, or myself. I lose all emotion.
I sock her right in the face. She launches back at the wall and brings Emily half way with her. She shoots the gun randomly, and I see a bullet come toward me and I tilt to the left. I feel something pierce my right ear, but it doesn't hurt that bad. The gun continues to shoot, the loudest sounds I have ever heard. I see it make new dents in the roof.
I run over and lean down toward Emily. She hit her head really hard, but she's still conscious. I know I only have a few seconds until Emma gets up, so I break the orbs around Emily's hands, and tear through the rope tying them together with my bear hands. "This is going to hurt." I say, as I rip off the tape from her mouth forcefully.
"GAAAHHHH!!" She says, holding her face.
Emma gets up, very clumsily, and tries to aim the gun at me, but her arm is too wobbly.
Emily grabs my arm quickly, then let's go. I turn to her, and see myself. Morph.
"Can't get me, can you Emma? Cause I'm balling, man!" Emily says, trying to resemble me. I giggle a little when she says, balling instead of ballin'.
She moves her hand back and forth, telling me to move. I look to Emma, who is focused on "me". I sneak behind her and kick the gun from her hand.
"SH*T!" Emma yelled. She kneels on the ground, holding her hand. Taking in deep breaths, Emma looks between me and Emily.
"Get the gun!" I yell, trying not to let her know who was who by yelling out Emily.
She runs towards it and grabs it, holding it up to Emma.
"Go sit over there!" Emily yells. Emma follows directions, me following her, holding her hands behind her back.
She turns around and faces me, sitting in the corner. Suddenly, she sticks out both of her hands and Emily and I are frozen, surrounded by a blue gas.
"Too bad y'all didn't get me monologuing, I could have been even more like Syndrome!" Emma says, quoting The Incredibles.
Zero point energy? I try to say, but cannot, as I am frozen.
"Y'all didn't think I'd give up that easily, did ya? Huh?! Did ya!?!" She slams Emily and I into the nearest wall, and pain races up from my right foot and arm. We drop suddenly, crashing against the floor, then are picked up again, myself in a starfish position from being on the ground. I now also feel like I intensely belly-flopped.
"This is fun! Almost makes up for the years I spent pretending to be your friend! You have no idea (slam) what that's like (fall) do you? (Picked up)."
She drops us once more, and I sprint.
"Hey!"
She misses me as I run through the doors, into the hallway.
I run, and run. Soon, I come up to a figure laying on the ground, blood coming from their waist.
"Ma- mar- Mary? I missed- you." Her eyes roll back and she closes her eyes.
No no no no no. I think quickly and pick her up, thanking the stars that I ran out here and not Emily, she wouldn't be able to pick her up.
I sprint, kind of grossed out by getting her blood on my shirt. It's made sort of fair when blood from my ear falls onto her forehead. Sorry, I whisper.
I realize that I have no idea where I am going, so I kick on a door that says "Healing". Someone opens the door, so I rush in, set Mackenzie down and run back. Someone yells at me, but I ignore them. I need to go back to Emily.
When I make it to Jacks office, I look around, and find no one. The gun is no longer on the ground, and the back door is open. I run as fast as I can, but realize that I am too late. A ship in the sky is speeding away. Emily's jacket is on the ground. I pick it up.
"EMILY!"
