¡Ay mamí ya me voy!
Telling my mom that I'm going to school, freshman year is a new start, a clean slate in my life. MHS, my dream high school, but what I didn't know, was that, that high school has different intentions for me than I thought. This school is supposed to get me into a good college.
I'll be the first one in my family to go to college, well that's what I'm told of my future. Don't get me wrong, I'm doing it for myself too, I don't want to be in this family any longer. The constant reminder that I'm most likely going to become like the rest of my family members, pregnant and not finishing school. Well that's going to change, because I'm graduating high school, and leaving this family.
Or I thought I was.
