Raynes pov "Mom help meeeeee I need to find the best dress ever!" "Rayne wake up" I woke up to see ruby standing there in a bright orange dress with her hair down like mine I said "you look great" she smiled and said "you to now let's go!" Mom and dad drove us both to the dance and when we got there ring ran off probably to find food I laughed and felt a tap on my shoulder I turned to see Lukas he said "hey" I said "hey you look amazing" he said "thanks you look beautiful" I blushed and said "so you here with Joey" he sighed and said "me and Joey broke up a few weeks ago I just didn't tell you" I said "what why'd you break up you've been together since she moved her 4 years ago" he said "well I started to just not like her anymore besides I like someone else" I nodded and said "who do you like" he smiled and said "not telling now a slow song is coming on and I think I'll look pretty stupid dancing by myself so may I have this dance" he put his hand out and I blushed I took his hand and said "you may" we laughed and he put his hands on my wait and I put my arms around his neck we danced until the song ended and then we just sat down he said "look I feel bad about not telling you who I like since we tell each other everything so...you'll find out at the end of tonight" I groaned and we sat there for a minute just staring until he said "you really do look beautiful although since your hair is so black it looks like a big blob on your head" I laughed and said "thanks a lot lulu" he said "your welcome Rayray" I smiled and for the rest of the night we talked,danced,ate, and then finally the evening ended the DJ said "ok everyone this is the last song of the night so find that special someone and get ready for the last slow song" Lukas grabbed my hand and pulled me with him we started dancing and he said "since this is the last song of the night you wanna know who I like" I nodded and said "yes please! That would be amazing im so confused if you don't like Joey then who d-" I was cut off by his lips against mine I was shocked at first but kissed back when we pulled away I said "I've waited almost 5 freakin years for that and I'm so happy I waited" he smiled and said "I like you rayne I did even when Joey first came back the only reason we kept daring this long is because she kept threatening to hurt you if I broke up with her but she finally said ok and we broke up" I smiled and hugged him i said "I like you to" he grabbed my hand and said "so rayne Ro,Meave will you be my girlfriend" I nodded and we kissed again then ruby came up to us she said "finally! I was wondering when you two would get together!" I laughed and then ruby said "ok well mom and dad are outside we gotta go" I nodded and Lukas said "my mom should be here soon but I'll walk you out" we all walked out and ruby got in the car I turned to Lukas and said "thanks for tonight it was really fun" he smiled and said "thanks for saying yes to being my girlfriend" I smiled and I kissed his cheek i then ran to the car and climbed in everyone kept asking me stuff but I couldn't understand them I was off in lala land with only one thing on my mind...Lukas
