"Sometimes you get to what you thought was the end and you find it's a whole new beginning." Anne Tyler

I get make my way out of my car and as I turn to walk to my door I see a couple outside of Mia's house. As I take a closer look I recognize Mia, she is wearing a dress, not like the ones she would wear, more 'women like' less 'girl like'. I call out her name but she seems to be too into the conversation she is having with the man. I walk closer and I see the man lean into her and gives her a kiss on the forehead.

"Mia? Mia Belmonte. I can't believe it's really you." I say as I get closer to her. She turns to the sound of my voice and her face goes from curious to shocked.

"Alexander. Hello." Why so stiff?

"Hey. I missed you."

"I could say the same, but I didn't miss you." She turns to the guy next to her. He takes a hold of her hand.

"Hey. I'm Alex Parra, you are." I know he can hear the jealousy in my voice.

"Enzo Bianchi, Mia's boyfriend." He looks at me straight in the eyes and then grabs Mia by the waist.

"Nice to meet you." I say through my teeth.
"Nice to see you again, Mia. Maybe we can meet up." I say as I turn to walk home.

"Maybe not." I hear her yell as I close the door to my parents house.

I walk inside and I see Vanessa and Gabrielle sitting in the dinning table talking. I remember how it use to be Mia and Vanessa.

"Guess who I just saw outside." Both girls turn to me.

"Who?" Vanessa asks.

"Mia." I say with a smile on my face.

"Oh god. I need to see her. I miss her." She gets up from her chair and walks passed me. I take a hold of her.

"I think that's a bad idea. You didn't see her, Vane. She was cold towards me, she didn't look like the old Mia."

"What do you mean?"

"Her eyes didn't have the same warmth and spark, that they use to."

"I don't think she is over it. I don't think she can forgive us that easily."

"But I have to try." I see her eyes start to water.

"Not today, I think she is back for her dad."

"Poor her, she doesn't need this in her life."

"I'm going to go change, then we can go out to eat." I turn to Gabby and I give her a kiss on the cheek.

I walk to my sisters old room and I get my clothes from the luggage. I pull my shit over my head and I look at myself in the mirror. I look at the words written over my heart.

Angel
Per sempre, amore mio.

The 'g' in angel has a hallo on the top.

I got it done when I heard Mia telling Vanessa that she had a locket with that in it.

The day Mia left I read the letter she gave me.

Ever since I haven't lost hope in our love. I could never forgive myself for the hurt that I have caused her.

I put the other shirt on and walked out of the room. The girls are waiting by the door to the house.

We walk out and we bump into Mia and Ezra or is it Enzo?

"Mia." I hear Vane say.

"What?" I hear the coldness in Mia's voice.

"I wanted to see if I could have a word with you?"

Mia laughs.

"And what makes you think I want to talk to you." Mia gets closer to Vane. "I'm not the same stupid little girl that wanted your forgiveness."

"I should be the one asking for forgiveness."

"I don't accept it." Mia turns to Gabby. "If you value your life, I would advice you to get as far away from this family as possible." She turns to me and gives me a smirk. "He has a tendency to suck all of the innocence from the girls that love him. Isn't that right, Alexander." She turns to leave with Ezra by her side. She turns before getting into her car. "Why don't you ask Alexander who was the father of my baby." She looks at me again. " Loving you... Loving you was the worst mistake I ever made." And then she gets into the car.

What happened to the sweet, innocent, Mia?

There will be a second story. Loving me is the continuation of Mia's story. The first few chapters are up.
