"She is a beautiful piece of broken pottery, put back together by her own hands. And a critical world judges her cracks while missing the beauty of how she made herself whole again." JM Storm
I wake up in a familiar room, it's my first home. I look through the window and I see a younger version of my parents. My mom looks 20 and my dad 25, but I know that they are at least 5 years older. Why? Because I see a little girl curled up in the bed, hiding her face so they won't see her cry.
"I hate this. I hate that we come second to you. I don't want this for my daughter. She shouldn't feel like she is your second choice." My mom yells at my dad.
"You know that that is not true. She is my life."
"Well it doesn't seem like it. Stay or leave, just know that she will grow up and this will catch up to you. Just hope that she doesn't repeat history."

The image in front of me fades away and a new one shows. I am outside my grandmas house looking at my younger self talking to my cousin."You are lying." I can her the cry in Mia's voice.
"No I am not. Your dad left cuz he doesn't want you no more. He is going to find someone better and he will never look back at you again." I remember this. My dad had a month since he had left the country and I was scared of never seeming him again.

The image changes again I am in the room where I stayed before moving to the United States, little Mia is in the bathroom while the boys are waiting outside the door for her. When she gets out the attack her. They have her by the hands and legs."Mia kick, kick as hard as you can." I say hoping she can hear me. She does, she kicks the boy hard and the other one let goes to try and help his friend. She runs as fast as she can outside the room. When she's outside she take a deep breath.
"Are you my guardian angel?"
"You see me?"
"Yes, I have always seen you. Will I be okay?"
"Yes."
"You promise? Will all boys be like them?" I see the sadness in her eyes.
"Not all boys are like that."
"Thank you. Bye." And she walks off.
********************************************The next image is me and Alex sitting on couch watching TV. I had a bowl of ice cream and I was enjoying it. I had just put a spoonful in my mouth when Alex grabs me by the neck and kisses me. I turn away not wanting to relive those moments, I know them all to well.
"Umm I love ice cream." Alex says when he is done kissing me.
"I asked you if you wanted some but you said no." I take another spoonful and again he kisses me.
"Yeah, but it taste so much better kissing it out of you." I blush.
********************************************
"Alex if you wet me I will never talk to you again." I say as I run around the grass. I feel him close to me, I get distracted by his presence that I trip and fall. Alex trying to catch me also falls."Hahaha. Clumsy as always."
"What are you guys doing?" We see Vanessa coming toward us.
"Nothing" we say at the same time.

Where am I ???I see a little girl running towards a woman who looks like me.
"Mommy where is daddy?" The women looks sad.
"He will be late today, so we will be eating alone."
"Okay mommy."
The scene is the same, but now it's dark outside.
"I'm home family." I hear Alex's voice but it sounds different. He sounds drunk.
"Where have you been?"
"Can't you see Mia. I was out enjoying my life."
"It's three in the morning. Our daughter was waiting for her goodnight kiss. Again."
"Oh okay. I'll go right now." He stumbles to get past older me.
"You are not going up there. I didn't want her to see you like this."
"Like this Mia. This is your fault, I had everything and you took it when my parents made me marry you."
"I... How many times do I have to say sorry Alex. I told them I didn't want to marry you. I also didn't want this, I was fine with just being me and Angel."
"That's the thing, I was force to marry you because you didn't get rid of her. She ruined everything."
"I'm sorry daddy." They both turn to look at the little girl.
"Angel. Princess I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry."
I'm sorry
I'm
Sorry
