Ross and Laura, Something More?

Shocks and Shame

-2 weeks later-

Laura's POV

Nothing much has happened lately. Cody kept trying to call me and text me but eventually stopped. Unfortunately it was the complete opposite from Ross. The daily call turned into weekly call. I guess being on a movie is busy work.

Anyway, 1 month down! 1 to go! This has been the longest month of my life!

Oh, did I say that we're all flying to Puerto Rico too surprise Ross! I'm in the middle of packing since we're leaving to the Airport in about 30 minutes.

I finished packing and dragged my bags down the stairs. I walked into the kitchen and was greeted by Stormie and Mark. By the way, they let Vanessa and I stay over since we were all flying over to Puerto Rico.

"Hey honey. Packed and ready?" Stormie asked. "Yeah! Where are the others?" I asked. "They're all packing. Come on have some lunch before we leave. It's a long flight!" Mark replied.

I thanked them and sat at the table and ate Stormie's delicious food.

After about 5 minutes all the Lynch kids and Ratliff came down the stairs with their suitcases.

20 minutes later we began to pack the car before we all piled into the car and drove to the airport. I'm so excited!

We checked in and went to the gate to wait for a boarding call. I was sitting on the seats when I felt a buzzing in my jacket.

I answered it smiling expecting it to be Ross, but what I heard on the other side of the phone was awful. Cody.

Laura: What do you want Cody!

Cody: Woah! I just wanted to apologize for the kiss.

Laura: Apologize! Our kiss ended up in magazines, on TV, on the Internet! I had to go on millions of talk shows to make this all blow over so if you don't mind I'll be hanging up now!

Cody: Please Laura! I love you.

I quickly ended the call. I felt so bad for just leaving him hanging like that. I mean, I don't love him! But I still feel awful for it!

When Ross gets back though, everything will be back to normal! I hope.

I hadn't noticed that we were starting to board and that Rocky was waving his hand in front of my face. I finally snapped out of it. "Sorry!" He smiled and said. "Don't sweat it ma lady." I giggled at him mixing old with new. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

We walked onto the flight and took our seats. Rocky and Rydel were sitting on my sides. Nobody knows this but I am deathly scared of flying (I doubt that's true though)! I closed my eyes and took deep breaths. I felt a hand go on top of mine making all the fear vanish. I opened my eyes and smiled at Rocky.

Rocky's POV

As soon as I touched her hand and saw her beautiful smile I knew that I had feelings for Laura. But, she's with Ross and I can accept that. If anyone was going to be with her. I'm glad it's me. I mean him!

-14 hours later-

We all hopped off the flight and took a taxi to the hotel that Ross is at. Puerto Rico is amazing. Beaches, palm trees, scorching hot sun. I feel like we never left LA! And don't worry! We aren't staying in his room! I couldn't do that to him. I'm too good a bro. And also the hotel said that they needed his consent.

Laura's POV

We got to the hotel and it was A-MAZING! I can't wait to see Ross! We checked and asked for Ross' room number. We thanked her and took the elevator to our floor which was floor 27. Yes! They put us on the same floor as Ross!

We dropped all our stuff off in the room and everyone had a quick shower. Ross' wasn't in his room so we had too wait.

I was done first so I told everyone that I was going to take a walk on the beach.

It was now about 6pm and the sun began to set over the horizon reminding me of that night with Cody. I was walking when I saw a picnic, just like the one Ross made for me.

No one was there yet but then I heard people coming closer so I jumped behind a rock. Don't ask me why, it was just instinctive I guess.

I was going to sneak away when they sat down and weren't looking.

I stood up and started to creep away. I took a glance at the two people and what I saw shocked me. Ross was with another girl! He hadn't seen me yet.

I shed silent tears and was about to start yelling at him but decided to just see if it was friendly or not.

I watched carefully and the things they said and did. But there was one thing that made my heart die. Ross said, "I love you Maia. You are my one and only." So this girl is called Maia. I watched again as tears started to once again stream out of my eyes.

After a while nothing was happening. I decided to leave and start screaming at Ross later. But I saw one thing out of the corner of my eye that really killed me. They began to make out with each other! That really blew my top!

Laura: I thought you loved me Ross.

They both pulled back as Ross had utter shock on his face.

Ross: L- Laura what are you doing here?

Laura: I'LL TELL YOU WHAT I'M DOING HERE! WATCHING YOU MAKE OUT WITH SOMEONE WHO ISN'T YOUR GIRLFRIEND!!!

Maia: Actually. I am, his girlfriend.

Laura: Well Maia. Nice to finally meet you. But Ross is my boyfriend as well. Was my boyfriend.

Maia also started to cry and Ross still stood there in shock. I ran away from them.

Ross: Wait Laura! I love you!

I stopped in my tracks and shot him a death glare.

Laura: I wish I could say the same about you.




A/N

There you go, serious drama is brewing! I'm sorry if you didn't want that to happen but it did! I'll update 1 or 2 more chapters today. BTW, I have nothing against Maia Mitchell! Also, it's really hard sometimes to think of titles that don't spoil the story or ones I haven't used before so I might stop them soon and do 'Chapter 1' and such.

Anyway...
