-2 weeks later-

Calum's POV

It's been a month since anything dramatic has happened and I couldn't be happier!

I heard that Ross and Laura got back together! Also, Rocky got a new girlfriend who seems really nice! I think her name was Samantha.

Anyway, Raini and I have been going on dates for a while and it's really awesome!

But today is the day that I make things more awesome.

Today, I'm going to ask Raini to be my girlfriend. I'm doing the most romantic thing that I could think of.

Raini's POV

Calum and I have been dating properly for about 3 weeks!

Calum: Hey Rain! Wanna come with me for dinner at 'Le Trois Cochons'?

Raini: Sure! What time?

Calum: Around 7pm. Oh and have you got anything planned after that?

Raini: No. Why?

Calum: It's a surprise! See you at Venice Beach at 7. ;)

Raini: Fine. See ya then :)

Oh gosh. I really want to see what he has planned!

I looked to the clock and saw that it was 9.58am. This is going to be a long wait.

I tried to take my mind of the surprise but I couldn't manage it.

I tried to watch TV, I tried Twitter, Facebook, Instagram but no luck. I even tried taking a nap but the longest I slept for was 2 minutes.

I tried to call Laura but nothing.

Nothing could make the time pass.

Laura's POV

Calum called me up and asked me to help him with the most romantic date ever.

This is gonna be SOOO special! Raini is gonna love it!

I drove down to a helicopter company in a little flat area.

"Hi there missy. What can I do ya for?" The man behind the counter said kindly. "Hi. Could I please rent a helicopter for about 2 hours?" I asked. "Sure can. That'll be $1595." He told me with a smile. My eyes went wide but I ended up handing over Calum's card. "Where would ya like it too pick you up?" The man asked. "Is it possible to have it pick them up on Venice Beach?" I asked him. "I'm sure we can make it happen." He replied. "Thank you sir!" I said cheerfully. "You are most welcome darlin'!" He replied with a smile.

Calum's POV

I drove up the hill and set up the table, the fairy lights and ran through a check list with what was happening on it.

My phone began to buzz in my pocket. I got it out and looked at the screen.

Laura: Hey! I've got the helicopter ready. Do you need anything else?

Calum: Thats great Laur! Thx. I'm alright. everythin else is planned for tonite.

Laura: Ok then. Good luck!

-Later-

Raini's POV

It was 7pm and I arrived at the beach to the. Moments later, she walked around the corner and smiled when she saw me.

I walked up to him and he bent down to give me a peck on the lips. "How's my favourite girl!" He asked. I smiled and replied. "Better now that she's with her favourite guy. And would be even better when she gets some food." I joked.

I turned to the restaurant. Before I could walk to the door Calum pulled me back. "Where are you off to?" He asked cheekily. "You said dinner at 'Le Trois Cochons'." I replied. "Is that so? Well. I believe that I was meant to have a full stop between 'dinner' and 'at'." He said. I was now extremely confused.

"Then where are we going red head?" I asked. "That is a surprise! And that." He said as he pointed to the left. "Is our ride."

I turned my head to the sky and saw a helicopter descending. My jaw hit the ground and my eyes popped out of my sockets.

"Calum Worthy! You did not waste your money on me!" I yelled. "That's where your wrong, my dear." He said as he extended a hand.

I took the hand and was escorted to the chopper.

We took flight and I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face. I leant my head on Calum's shoulder and watched as we flew beyond the beautiful LA.

After a hour of amazement, the helicopter landed. And I couldn't believe what hill we were on.

Where we landed, the 'Hollywood Sign' sat a few meters away.

As I stepped into the warm Cali breeze my smile grew so much that I thought my lips would fall off.

I immediately pulled Calum to me and pushed my lips to his. We kissed for what seemed like hours.

Fireworks were flying everywhere and the butterflies had escaped again.

We finally sat down after kissing for 15 minutes.

Calum pulled out my chair allowing me to take a seat. "Oh, such a gentleman." I said poshly.

I looked at the beautifully smoked salmon and dug in.

Calum stepped towards me and pulled out a small black box.

"Rain. I've loved you for a long time. And I want to be there for a long time. You are the best thing to happen to me. I love you. And I want to finally take the next step. So Raini Rodriguez. Would you do me the honour of being my beautiful girlfriend?" Calum spoke making my eyes water. I jumped onto Calum and kissed him with such passion.

We pulled back and smiled. "I'll take that as a yes? And by the way. Even though you have fish breath. I still want more." He said making me giggle.

I smirked and cheekily replied,

"Don't push your luck."

I just got back from the worst school camp and exams just finished last week. So I tried to squeeze in as much writing time as possible.
