Rocky's POV

-Previously-

I feel like I have nothing worth living for.

I walked out of the cave and over too the waterfall.

I could just jump. Plummet to the dangerous water below. End all of this pain.

I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and...

Realised that I wouldn't let Maia end my life. I stepped back from the cliff and walked back to the house.

I opened the door and stepped into the house. "Rocky! Is that you?" I heard a voice say before seeing Rydel run around the corner before she hugged me.

"I was so worried Rocky." She said sadly. I felt bad for making her upset. I tightened my grip on her reassuringly. Rydel was always the one to get worried about us.

I told Rydel that I needed to freshen up and she nodded. She left back to the living room and I went upstairs.

I walked to the bathroom door and put my hand on the knob but stopped and looked to Ross' door.

I changed my direction and walked to his door and knocked on it. "Come in." Ross called.

I opened the door and walked in.

Rocky: Hey bro. What's up?

Ross: Nothin' much. Hey. Rocky. Look I'm sorry.

Rocky: Ross. It's fine. This wasn't your fault. You warned me. I should've listened to you.

Ross: Yeah. But I'm sorry for what I said. None of this would've happened if I hadn't said what I said to you. I'm sorry Rocky.

Rocky: Hey. Don't worry about it.

I sighed and sat down beside Ross.

Rocky: I actually never want to talk about this again. I'll go crazy if I keep thinking about this.

We both laughed and fist bumped each other.

I'm glad that everything is back to normal.

There you go guys. I know it's short but I assumed that shorter chapters will be up more often. Also, if you've read my other book you would know that I can't update as often because exams are coming up. Hope you understand 😔...
