The rest of my day was boring. Hayes has ignored me the whole day and so have I.

Ever since he's been with Kelly, he's changed a lot. He denies it, but I know he's knows it's true. He has more of an attitude now and has been lying a lot as you can tell.

The dismissal bell rings and I head out the doors. Past me, I see Hayes walking to his car.

your dad is at work and he took the car. you're gonna have to get a ride or walk.

Since Amber probably already left, I guess I'll be walking home. I need the extra excersise anyways.

Just 3 miles no big deal. Sarcasm.

I walk by the sidewalk using my phone the whole time. I grab my earbuds and I play my playlist and One Dance by Drake pops up. I sing out loud since no one can hear me. Lucky them, i sing horrible.

As I'm walking I hear a car beep at me. I look at the drivers seat and I see Hayes. "Hop on you bum." He says laughing.

"Depends are you gonna lie about taking me to my house?" I say.

"I said I'm sorry." He says.

I sigh walking to the passenger's seat. I get inside and continue playing my music.

Hayes grabs the other part of my earbuds and puts it on. "One more time 'for I go!" He sings loud and bad.

"Shut up you're ruining the song." I say covering his mouth.

He licks it making me wipe the saliva on the car seat.

"You're disgusting." I say.

"Hey! I brushed my teeth." He defends.

I laugh and he laughs too. I miss moments like this. "Hayes, we seriously need to talk." I tell him.

"Ok." He says.

"I don't know if you've noticed, but Kelly clearly doesn't like the fact that we're best friends." I say.

"Yeah, she does." He defends.

"No she doesn't Hayes." I say. "She's always giving me dirty glares when I've done absolutely nothing to her."

"I don't get why you hate her so much." he asks.

"You should be saying that to her!" I tell him. "She's changing you. You were never like this before you met her."

"Get out." He says.

"What?" I ask.

"Get out." He says unlocking the door. "If you're gonna talk shit about my girlfriend, get out."

"You're pathetic. When you guys break up, don't come crawling back to me." I say slamming the car door hard.

I walk home with tears in my eyes. I cant believe he's choosing his stupid girlfriend over his best friend who has been there for him.

"You need to get over Hayes." Amber says.

"I can't and i've tried so so hard but it- i just can't." I tell her.

"I'll find you a boy." She says.

"Yeah right." I say. "Let's just watch a movie."

We chose on watching The Gallows. It's a scary movie and I'm in the mood for a scary movie. We plugged the CD on the DVD and started watching it.

"Thank you for staying." I say. "I'm glad you're my friend."

"I will find a boy for you and he will be hot as fuck." She says and i burst into laughter.

"Bye." I say and she waves back getting in her car.

"I totally wasn't hearing any of that." My mom says.

"Let's say you were in a relationship. You had a boyfriend. Would you pick your best friend or your boyfriend?" I ask my mom.

"Best friend, no doubt." She says. "Why?"

I sigh, "Hayes chose his girlfriend over me." I say. "I told him that Kelly doesn't like the fact that we are best friends and he kicked me out of the car because he thought I was talking shit about Kelly."

"He's brainwashed by her. Don't stress it because I can assure you he will see what type of person you are for him and eventually you'll stand out to him. For now, just have fun! Find yourself another boy or let Amber find you a boy that's hot as fuck." She says laughing.

I hug my mom, "Thank you mom." I tell her. "I don't know what I'd do without you."
