"It makes me . . . anxious . . . to be away from you."

-Stephanie Meyer, Twilight.

Eadred's P.O.V

I saw Raven sharpening his knife. His dark green eyes were glowing and ....

he's oozing bloodlust.

''Sup Raven!"

I hesitated to greet him but I did anyway. I'm not scared of him.

He looked at me with the eyes of a killer ready to attack his prey.

''Good evening young master''

Okay.... I take it back. I'm a bit terrified with him...just a bit.

He managed to control his slaybersque, a legendary Chester known to kill everyone around him once activated completely.

''Where's princess?''
I know something's up. He didn't call me big bro this time.

He opened his mouth to speak but Maud appeared and interrupted his words.

"Good evening lord Pierce, I was wondering if you happen to see Lady Éclair..."

''I was asking Raven the same question.''

She frowned, turning to face Raven.

''I offered her a ride but she refused, saying you'll drive her home. Now, where is she?''

''I waited for hours in front of Ruthford Academy, but there was no sign of her. After hours of searching, I decided to go back and check if she was already here."

''It's your responsibility to know her every move. Have you ever thought of using a phone?''

She seemed exasperated. I'm glad to know someone cares for Clair. She was always bullied at school when we were young.

I too, am worried even if the Lascelles princess is way stronger than me.

''I kept calling her but she would not pick up.''

The poor familiar answered. I know how he cares for Clair, I've seen it, I even think he's exaggerating.

That leaves me no choice. I took my phone and dialed my Familiar's number.

After a millennium, she picked it up.

''Red.'' she stated in irritation.

''Need your service at the moment.''

''If you're hungry, ask the chef to make you something for dinner. I have plans tonight.''

''I'd like you to cancel your plans and come home at once.''

''My idiotic master miss me.''

''How'd you know?''

''I'm hanging up.''

''My daughter's missing.'' Victoria already knew that by daughter, I was pertaining to Clair.

"I'll investigate immediately."

*call ended

"I talked to Vic. She'll help us."

"Good to know that, young lord." Maud said sitting on the chair across me.

"HEEEY everyone!... Do you guys want to play with Rin-chan?.."
The Japanese prince entered the lounge. He's a bipolar 19 year old who looks younger than any of us here.

"Hey! I said let's play!... Rin-chan wants to play!"

Rin-chan is his odd looking teddy bear.

"Shoú. It's not the time to play."

Shoot. He said it.

"Oh...okay..then I'm going back to sleep after I eat cake Ryuu. Good night everyone! Bye bye"

"Let's not forget to brush your teeth."

"Okay! Ryuu."

After that eerie conversation, they left.

Vic took her entrance with a strange look sent to Raven.

"On the way here, I found this."

She showed us a handkerchief.
Raven gripped his hand.

"Is that my daughter's handky?"
I asked.

"Yes."
Vic answered looking extremely worried.

This doesn't sound good.

"So where is she?"
Maud asked without beating around the bush.

"I can't locate her, Maud. We need Tristan's eyes to find her."

"Tristan's asleep."

"How about Blanche?"

"Her mind reading Chester will not be of use this time. Besides, she's drunk right now and is currently resting."

"Then Tristan's our last card. I shall try to wake him up."

I volunteered.

"I wouldn't suggest that. He made it clear that no one is allowed to wake him up but his master. We should just wait till morning."

Vic contradicted my idea.

"Ms. Vanderbilt, I'd like to know what you saw."

Raven finally said a word.
