When you get into a hotel room, you lock the door, and you know there is a secrecy, there is a luxury, there is fantasy. There is comfort. There is reassurance.

Eclair's POV

"Huh. Do we kneel?"

Rex shook his head nervously.

"What do we do then?"

"We apologize."

Blast it. I don't think I did anything wrong!
Instead of apologizing, I managed to express a giggle.

"Should I just kill you both?"
We shook our heads in response to the raging unicorn in front of us.

The unicorn toured the whole city to look for me. It cordoned all streets and used a satellite to find me. Turns out I wasn't lost and it only made itself suffer by thinking what could have happened to its apprentice.

"Then what punishment should you both receive, if not death then what?!" Ah- unicorns really are adorable creatures. I wouldn't trade them for some cheap centaurs or cyclops.

I would, however give it away for a familiar with piercing green eyes. Damn familiar why is he in my head?! Get out!

"Out of my head this instance, darn you!"

"Are you drunk Bond?!" The unicorn looked at me. It was then that I realized if it did not have a horn then a pony would best describe it.

"No my little pony."

The unicorn bashed mine and Rex's head.

"On your feet now both of you." Unicorn got pissed and dismissed us like a platoon of lame soldiers.

It helped me get up from a chair which would electrocute us if we ever try to lie...or if we give a displeasing answer.

"What did you made her do?"

"Nothing! My client left for Paris and he gave me red wine. She drank it without my consent."

The unicorn sighed in exasperation.

"I'll take her home. Good work on your case but never drag her again or else I'll drag you to hell. Have I made myself clear?"

Whatever Rex answered, a tinnitus was all I heard. The office was spinning like a whirlpool portal not safe to get close to.
Its tempting.

Very much so...

Its drawing me so much I can't resist. I entered the black hole before staring at a painting of the man who conquered the most part of Europe, buried rising rulers and colonized nations.

"Alexander the great pony! You're a ridiculously sly pony! How dare you die by a mosquito bite?! Huh. Must think you're hot! You impolite mammal! Curshh yoouu!"

Cursing the rude student of one of the greatest Greek scholar, things just seemed to slowly turn to hollow.

-

"Why are you here?"

"Did you hit your head? This is my hotel suite, of course I'd be here."

Nothing of that sort-

"Stop thinking sht lady. You slept with me, beside me. Damn you were so drunk last night and you wouldn't let go of me. You are never to drink alcohol again. Do you understand?"

Just nodded my head. Who would like alcohol? It tastes awful.

"Good!"

Ow. What was that pain just now?

"Sorry. Your head probably hurts. Here swallow." He gave me an advil to drink.

"Get your derrière out of my bed immediately. We shall have breakfast."

I did as he told me and walked up to him. My head doesn't really hurt but when he scolded me it pounded like crazy inside of me.

"Montcroix."

He picked up his phone.

"Yes she's here with me."

"Yes we slept together."

"Shut up."

He hanged up to the caller and held my right hand so we could have breakfast together.

He prepared me French bread and hot chocolate drink plus a vegetable salad and bacon flakes.

"Huh. What a grandiose breakfast. Thank you. Were you the one who prepared all these?"

"Yes."

We ate the food after blessing it. The man could cook alright, seems like he could do anything.

"Did someone from the office call to give us a new assignment?"

He gave me a smirk before drinking his own cup of hot chocolate.

"Accurate. You're quite sharp aren't you?."

"Okay. I'll prepare now." I stood up to take a shower.

"Finish your breakfast. No food shall be wasted."

Tche. I sat back down.

"Huh. Okay. Do you have an initial report?"

"Yes Sherlock. I do and disparity hit us this time we'll be dealing with a troublesome group of drug syndicates."
