Who's Victoria?

I wanted to ask but it's none of my business, so I just shrugged the thought after deciding to walk to the lounge.

"Oh. Don't worry bout' her. She's got another job."
Ead said.. Hmm..Victoria must be Ead's familiar.

"I'm aware of that Mr. Pierce. But she already came back an hour ago. She said she was just going to buy a ca-djsoudbdvdjkdihshos"

Blanche covered his mouth.

"Ohohoho silly! don't get so worked up. I'm sure she just went out for a walk."

She let go of his mouth.

"What was that for Ms. Blanche? Are you trying to kill me?"
The guy wearing an eye patch asked.

"Ohohoho of course I'm not. You're overreacting alright."

"Geez what's wrong with you people?! Would you all just shut up?!"

The little child spoke. He actually shouted out loud but it sounded cute in my ears. His voice was high pitched.

"That's enough you prince child-looking adult. Don't yell at us! You're so rude!"

The girl in pigtails bawled at him.

Did she just say adult? Who's an adult?... That kid?

"Says the bodyguard who's roaring. You're a bodyguard of a freak!."

The little child roared.

"Did you just call my master a freak?!"

"Yes I did. Got a problem with that?!"

"He didn't."
The familiar of the child spoke for him.

"You peepsqueek!!"

"Ohohoho lolly fruitcake! Familiar fruitcake! Cool fruitcake!ohohoho!"

Blanche is really weird. -_-

They were all calling each other names and arguing like little children inside a playground.

All this ruckus is causing my head to ache so I decided not to have my breakfast here in the mansion anymore.

I went out of the Mansion without saying a word.

-

In one roaming , I had my breakfast and lunch at the same time. Its been so long since I tasted liberty from personal helpers and butlers. From the view of adults who know nothing but to make others do what they want.

I moved to the mansion to be alone. To find my true self and be free.

Time seems to be in a hurry always. I didn't know it was already getting dark and the sun has set.

Which means, the most dangerous time of the day has come.

Dangerous for our kind.

I'm hoping they find Ead's familiar soon.

I was walking through the road when I felt a presence following me. I pretended not to notice it.

The darkness brought by the night covered the whole place and the moonlight and light posts are the only source of light.

The presence following me is still not gone. I decided to turn around and check who it was.

"Hello there, would you like to have fun with me?"

My pupils dilated.
I faced a man wearing a ragged shirt and sweatpants.

Normal humans are not a threat to our kind, though its pretty bothersome to deal with their misbehaviors.

The man walked towards me and grabbed my arm. My eye's slowly turned to red from ash mauve.

I can hold it but not if it's fully changed. This chester they call isn't a gift but a curse. It harms people instead of protecting them.

"Aggghhh!!! What the hell?!"
The person who grabbed my arm screeched.

It was supposed to be the other way around. I was the one who was suppose to screech but it didn't happen because my familiar appeared.

He broke the man's hand.

"I- I didn't know she has a
b-boyfriend! She was walking alone! It fking hurts! Let go! Aggghh!"
He was yelping in pain.

"Enough. Let go of him!"
He let him go. The man ran as fast as he could.

"Why did you do that?! You know we are ten times stronger than an average person and yet you still hurt him"

"Weren't you scared?."
Something's off with him.

"Huh. Of course I'm not."

"Well then, you should be."
His face is serious and his voice was cold.

I've never seen him like this before, he was just either smiling happily, politely or sorrowfully sad.

It surprised me.
