'AFTER BREAKFAST, PROCEED TO THE MAZE GARDEN'

This note was the first thing I saw in the morning the moment I went outside of my room.

Apparently, I wasn't the only one who received it.

"Bonjour mademoiselle. Bonjour señor Raven."

What's up with his French act -_

"What do you need"
I questioned him the moment we reached the maze garden.

"Good morning big bro. You look refreshing today"

Refreshing? He's more like a cretin to me

"Thanks Rave! You've got wonderful eyesight!"

Conceited as ever -_-

"Lord Pierce! Lady Éclair! We're here!" -Maud

"Heeeyyy! Rin-chan's here!!" -Shoú

"..." -Ryuu

"Good morning Clair!!!" -Vic

Raven greeted all of them with his usual polite smile.

"Morning."
I'm happy to see all of them together. But I can't stop thinking,... What could Ead be up to?..

"Where's Blanche?" I asked Maud who's looking sleepy.

She smiled and gave me a peck on the cheek

"She has work lady Éclair. By the way, you look so cute when you blush"

"Huh. It's Saturday and I wasn't blushing"

"Yes you were. The Secretary of defense need her Chester to dig up the past of a highly classified criminal."

I see. Her Chester is indeed  useful to the government.

Maud turned to Ead.

"What's this about lord Pierce? Calling us early in the morning"

Ead cleared his throat and acted like he had a microphone and a stage

"Ladies and gentlemen! We will now begin the 2nd annual hide and seek games!"
He proudly said.

It's Fun. 

Really fun. But,  I wasn't granted the luxury of enjoyment. Especially with my co-residents.

If I could only...but I can't.

Father told me to be careful with my actions. One wrong move, he could destroy anyone.

So I can't be friends with them. I can't have fun. I can't-

"Princess! Where do you think you're going?!"

Ead stopped my tracks
"Huh. It's none of your business"

"Clair. Get back here." He commanded.

I smirked and walked away again. As if he could stop me-_- he's weaker than a baby.

"Get her!!!"

I heard Ead shout. I was about to turn around when I tripped and stumbled

"Ow!"

What the-

All of them were running towards my direction.

Before I could react, they were all on top of me, laughing their asses out.

"H-heavy"

The one who's top of me first was Raven.

"Are you alright Lady Éclair? Does your body hurt?"

Ow. My heart suddenly has beaten so fast it hurt.

I have been experiencing this for awhile now. I can't seem to relax. Perhaps  I should consult a cardiologist.

"N-no you're all just heavy. Please. Get off me, all of you!"

"We will only get off of you if you agree to play with us! Ahahaha" -Ead

These childish brats -_-

"Okay! Okay! I give up!"

I sighed.

Finally! One by one they get off me.

Raven helped me up.

"I apologize my mistress. I acted inappropriately, I shouldn't have let them force you if-"

I grabbed his hand and covered his mouth with my right hand since he's taller.

"It's okay Raven. I'm not mad"

"Oi! That's enough PDA you two! Come here and listen to the mechanics"

We walked towards their direction.

"PDA little Prince?"
I asked

"Yeah! public display of affection"

''Nyahahahaha your jaw's on the floor Clair-chan!''

"What are you-"

"Shoú that's not right. Apologize to them."

His familiar told him off yet the crown prince just giggled.

"Yeah right! I was just making fun of Clair-chan! She takes everything seriously."

I wasn't able to retort because Ead started blabbing his mouth again

"Alright lads! The mechanics is simple. There will be an 'it' who will seek the ones who hide. If the 'it' catches or tags a person, that person automatically becomes the ally of 'it'."

The game's quite simple.

"What's in it for us lord Pierce?"

Everyone turned to look at her and exchanged glances.
