Part 8: Laughing Too Hard

~Sonic's P.O.V~

"Are you still sure you wanna do this?" Sonic's ears twitched.
Shadow gave a nod. "This isn't gonna happen any faster with my kind of fear."
Sonic gave a small sigh, but smiled, kissing Shadow gently on the cheek. "I can still tell you're a bit nervous."
Shadow gave a sigh, hiding his eyes and shutting them. "I have to agree with that." He lay back on the bed, and he uncovered his eyes to look at the floor.
Sonic rolled his eyes, but still smiled. "You want me to go first?" Shadow gave a slight nod, even though it seemed like his entire muzzle was going to turn red soon. Sonic's ears flattened and he moved just the slightest from Shadow. He then gave a small smirk. "You wanna help me?"
Shadow's ears fell to the sides of his head, and his whole muzzle turned red, the blush even spread to part of his ears, but he moved over to Sonic, happy to help his best friend. Sonic almost gave a small whimper as his muzzle started turning a deeper pink that it was before whilst he started to unbutton his jacket. Shadow took off his own gloves and slipped the rings off, setting them down on the dresser next to Sonic's bed. The black hedgehog's ears twitched as he helped take off Sonic's gloves, setting them on his own. Neither of them felt as scared as before somehow, as they both smiled and the blush died. Sonic slipped his jacket off and tossed it on the floor, while Shadow threw off his hoodie, leaving both of them in shorts.
Shadow almost tried to hide himself, mostly his chest; he didn't really like the idea of having chest fur, and that's why he hid himself when he took his shirts off. Sonic held Shadow's wrists, pulling his hands off him.
Sonic chuckled. "You don't really have to be embarrassed of having chest fur, I mean I don't, it's all skin here. Even when I think about having chest fur, I really don't at the same time, because I want to leave other people as special, like you." Shadow chuckled shyly, rubbing the back of his head.
"I'm not that special..."
"Don't lie to me, I know you are." Sonic kissed Shadow gently on the lips for a few seconds. Shadow chuckled, jumping up and hugging Sonic tightly. It almost felt odd to Sonic at first, but then he hugged Shadow back, finally realizing how good it felt.
"I honestly think we could stay like this," Shadow pulled back from Sonic, a slight touch of worry in his eyes.
"You can't stay this shy forever." Shadow's ears flattened, but he nodded and smiled.
"I guess you're right." Sonic flipped over on the bed so he could sit up at the edge, and he kicked his shorts off, watching Shadow do the same. The only things lift that they were wearing was their shoes and socks. Sonic lay back in the bed, quickly taking off his shoes and throwing them at the wall, leaving a slight dent. Shadow only set his on the floor when he got them off, and then he kicked them toward Sonic's. The blue hedgehog gave a smile, sitting back up. He shivered the slightest, just now realizing how cold it was getting in his room. He got up, slipping his socks off and going to the window, shutting it quickly, almost slamming it shut. He then turned back to Shadow, his ears twitching as he went and sat back down beside him. Shadow lay back against the wall on the bed, rubbing his head.
"That wasn't as hard as I thought it would be," He laughed to himself, his ears flattened down to the sides of his head. Sonic kicked his legs out on the bed, looking down at his paws. Shadow pulled his paws up onto the bed, glaring down at the claws he bore on them.
"This is why I prefer wearing something on my feet, I hate my paws," Shadow growled down at them, poking at the pads, but then ripping his paw back. Sonic smirked, but then bore a frown when he looked down at his own paws.
"Well, you're one of the only people I know that have paws like that, it's kind of cool actually," Shadow rolled his eyes, and Sonic moved down to the floor so he could look at Shadow's paws. "It really is cool." He poked at the pads for a moment, and saw Shadow's voice grow a bright red.
"Um, S-Sonic..." Shadow had a slight touch of panic in his voice, but Sonic wasn't sure why. Then he got it, and he smirked.
Sonic held tightly onto Shadow's ankle, lifting that foot and holding it. "You're ticklish, aren't you?" Shadow threw his hands over his muzzle, trying to hide the blush. Seems like he does that a lot, he has to be shy or he wouldn't be doing that. Sonic chuckled.
"Don't do what I think you're gonna do! Don't even think about it!" Shadow tried to push Sonic off him, but the blue hedgehog kept holding on, grabbing one of the black hedgehog's hands.
"You know I need to."
"S-Sonic, wait-"
Sonic let Shadow go, holding up his hands, a wide smirk on his face. He then leapt back forward, pinning Shadow down by his shoulders. I don't even care how wrong this looks at the moment, I just need to tickle him just once! Sonic lifted himself from Shadow, yet he wouldn't move, it was almost like he was asking for it. The blue hedgehog rolled his eyes, putting his hands down by Shadow's sides, which made him whimper slightly.
"If you're gonna do it then stop stalling!" Shadow hid his face in his hands, trying to hide the fact his entire muzzle was glowing bright red. Sonic shrugged, deciding he'd listen to Shadow for once. He didn't even hesitate starting anymore, once he started he didn't want to stop, he really couldn't. Eventually he stopped when both of them started laughing too hard. Shadow almost started crying because of how hard he was laughing.
"Okay, I think that's enough of that," Sonic laughed, laying down beside Shadow.
"I think that was too much."
"Uh-huh, sure, you just couldn't handle it."
"Oh, co- RIGHT. Riiiight." They both burst out laughing. Shadow soon gave a small whimper and held his head with one hand.
"You alright?" Sonic's ears perked in worry.
"Yeah, my head just hurts."
"Aww..." Sonic scooted over and hugged Shadow tightly, gently kissing him. Shadow smiled and kissed the blue hedgehog back, holding tightly onto Sonic as he was to him.
