~Shadow's P.O.V~

Shadow kept leaned up against one of the buildings around town, he didn't really want to move at all. He honestly wasn't sure how he felt anymore. So many emotions had been moving through him lately that it was difficult to keep track of them all. He looked up to the sky, seeing it was becoming dotted with bright stars. Sonic leaned up beside him, they both were lost in thought. Shadow didn't even try to imagine or see what was going on in Sonic's head, but he was sure it wasn't that much of a big deal; It's not what I'm going through.
Sonic pressed up against him, laying his head back on Shadow's shoulder. He chuckled a little as he did this, noticing how Shadow shrunk down a little and tried to hide himself. He then remembered he was still wearing his style from the assembly and he growled as the white hurt his eyes. Sonic noticed this and his eyes fill with worry.
"Is your outfit too bright for you now?"
"It always has been, I'm just forced to wear it because everyone else does and it's the only dumb color they could make it out of, they didn't even think about the people with sensitive eyes, they don't think about anything!" Sonic whimpered a little, and Shadow knew he was worried. Sonic looked down at the hood he was wearing over top of his sweater, and he slipped it off, handing it to Shadow. It was a little light black with gray stripes, and it actually helped the pain in his eyes. He happily took it and slipped it on over his shirt. He tucked his quills back in the hood and pulled it up over his head.
Sonic chuckled a little at this. "I've never see you have a hood up before."
"Main reason I hate it is because it messes up my quills when I take it down."
"Well, I think you look cute with your hood up." Shadow shrunk a little again, and tried to hide himself in the hood.
"Out of all people you're the main person to embarrass me," He half muttered.
"Well, you embarrass me so I might as well get revenge for that, might I?" Shadow almost glared at Sonic, but blushed a little when he realized he was half mimicking him, just by crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow.
Shadow just threw him a disapproving look. "Seriously?"
Sonic couldn't help but laugh at this. "I'm sorry, I just had to!"
"Sure you did," Shadow rolled his eyes, crossing his own arms and laying back against the wall.
"Hey, even I need to get back at you sometimes-"
"-Without mimicking me would be nice." Shadow laughed a little when he noticed how aggravated Sonic was becoming, he even tried to growl. "One thing I have to say is; you can't growl. It sounds like you're purring. I can't really say that you aren't just by how red your face is becoming."
Sonic shrunk down a little in his sweater, which made the collar go a little over his muzzle, only just covering his mouth. "Shhh nobody needs to know that, I'm not blushing I have no clue what you're talking about." He chuckled a little nervously almost, which made his face turn even brighter. He let the collar fall back under his muzzle as he held his stomach a little, almost whimpering.
Shadow's ears perked from under the hood and he looked to Sonic with concern. "Your stomach's still hurting?"
"I honestly don't really think it's a good idea for me to be out here in just the sweater, it is really cold." Just to prove this, Sonic shivered a little. Shadow thought hard a moment, and then he looked down at the jacket. He smiled at his next idea. He pulled his hood down off his quills and unzipped it. He grabbed Sonic's hand and pulled him over, which surprised the small hedgehog. Shadow pulled the hood over Sonic and zipped it a little over the two of them. He pulled his hood back up when he realized how messy his quills had become after taking it down.
Sonic pressed closer up to him and chuckled, that's how Shadow knew Sonic had seen his quills. "You need to brush your fur when we get home?" Shadow looked away from him, but he nodded. He looked up to the sky and just stared at the stars that were perking out of the dark.
Rouge and Amy walked back to the two, and Amy had a small bruise on her arm from when she tripped, which almost made Shadow chuckle when he looked to her. "The show's about to start," Amy said, almost glaring at Shadow, which only made his smirk grow larger. "You guys wanna stay back here and watch or do you wanna go up front?"
"I think we'll stay back here," Shadow answered quickly. His face turned a little red when he realized he said that. He looked away and hid his eyes with his hand. Damnit! I've basically just let them know I hate going into crowded places.
"You sure?" Rouge asked. At least she didn't notice. "We could-"
"Rouge, stop, we're fine," Sonic actually stood up for Shadow this time. "You guys can go up front if you want and can leave with those passes yourselves when the concert's over, just go."
Sonic narrowed his eyes at the two girls, and Shadow watched their ears drop as they realized how Sonic was acting. They both nodded and smiled nervously as they turned and ran off to the front of the stage. Sonic turned back and lay his head back on Shadow's chest, shutting his eyes.
Shadow chuckled a little. "I think I'm putting too much of an influence on you."
"Well that's for sure," Sonic rose and eyebrow and looked up to Shadow. "You did get me pregnant after all."
"I'm lucky I wasn't the victim of that."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Nothing, it's just another part of me I wasn't included with."
Sonic's eyes widened. "Wait... Is... one of your inabilities to...?"
Shadow nodded before Sonic finished his question. "I don't... have the 'ability' to... get pregnant."
"Really?!" Shadow could tell that Sonic was surprised by how many questions were being thrown around his head.
"Yes, I'm serious. Gerald didn't exactly make me 'perfect' but at least I'm here. Really, if I wasn't here, there would be no influences being made on the school. I actually ran against Amy to become the Principal's assistant."
"How many votes off were you?"
"Only a few. But, the good part about that is if Amy isn't at school then I'm the one running the place."
They both laughed at this. "Okay, so if Amy moved or if she was sick, you'd be assistant principal?"
"Basically."
"Well that makes sense, you really are the best person for the job."
Shadow's face turned bright red. "Can ya stop embarrassing me for 5 minutes?!"
"Nope!" Sonic gave an almost girlish giggle, pressing himself up closer to Shadow, and almost trying to hide under the jacket. Shadow sighed, closing his eyes and resting his head over Sonic's, almost protectively. The show stage and lights went dark around the hall, and Shadow opened his eyes again when he heard them go off. Sonic pulled himself out of the jacket and looked at the stage, just as a few lights turned back on and the music started playing. Shadow gave a quiet whimper as he knew who would be on stage first. Here we go... I hope she'll be fine up there by herself...
