Chapter 15: Anything for You

Everyone looks at Daksh, then at me and then back at him again. As if everyone is going to spend the rest of the day staring at us only.

Girl 1: Is she Aditi?
What is she doing with Daksh Rathod?

Girl 2: Hey look, their fingers are interlaced!

Girl 3: Why are they walking like this, together?

Girl 4: Please God don't tell me they are dating.

Simran: I think I need to inform this to Aarya now.

I hear numerous gossips and comments from the girls I don't even know, when we walk past the corridor. He understood that I am receiving harsh comments from everyone so he interlaced his fingers with mine so that I feel better. And yes I do!

I don't understand what problem these girls have with me. I also try to dress up and look almost same like them. Still they give such hates which tempts me to throw bricks on them. Seriously, each one of them is irritating.

Anyway, Daksh came to pick me up from my place this morning. At first I was afraid of my mom and dad about what if they see me going with him. But I was relieved when none of them came out of the building or at the window to say a 'goodbye' when I was leaving for the college. Thank God!

Today is my first day with him and I am so happy. This is my first time that I am experiencing such type of feelings for someone and this feeling is so special. My cheeks have already turned red like tomatoes because I am holding his hand.

"Aditi, just ignore. Don't listen to them. They are all just jealous girls" says Daksh and cheers me up.

I nod blushingly to his words and say 'I was not even listening' to myself. Oh god, why am I blushing like every time?

We then reach the canteen where I see Shikha sitting alone and texting someone. I and Daksh then take a seat in front of her. As soon as she look at us, she quickly switches off her phone and keeps it inside her bag. Why are you so weird at times, Shikha?

"Hello love birds. So, how's it going?" she smirks cheerfully.

"How's what?" I ask her. Seriously what?

After asking this question, I receive a death glare from her, showing that I am too dumb to understand anything. Well when it comes to such questions, then I am definitely not a smart person to be question something like this.

"G-Great" I reply nervously after seeing her expression. Why am I being so awkward with everyone?

She smiles and looks at Daksh. "Any plans for her today?" she asks, smirking all the way.

"Of course" he replies and looks at me. I too look at him and my cheeks turn scarlet. Do I blush? Definitely.

Daksh's phone rings just after he replied to Shikha's question. He then asks for an excuse and goes to the other side to receive his call.

Just as he gets up, I turn to her and say "Don't tease us Shikha. Please. It's really embarrassing"

"Is it?" she asks showing a little concern in her eyes.
