I can't believe this whole week has passed so early and tonight is the day when I am leaving for Goa. For me, it's a vacation. But not for my parents. Definitely because they don't know the reality. They think I am going to Mumbai but I am not going to that place actually.

I know it is terrible that I lied to them but I couldn't help it. This was the only excuse I could come up with to convince my parents so that they could allow me to go. I am kind of nervous presently but I think I am going to be fine.

"Aditi..." exclaims my mom and enters inside my room. "..you are done with your packing right?" she asks.

"Almost mom" I answer while stuffing my toothbrush and towel inside the bag.

My flight is in two hours, that is, at 8:40 pm and it is not direct actually. Basically, this is my first time that I will be sitting in an aeroplane that I have dreamt from my childhood. We will first depart from Dehradun and arrive at Delhi Airport. From there, we have a flight to Goa.

"Tickets?" she asks.

"Of course mom" I answer by rolling my eyes and show her the tickets which I had kept in my purse.

She smiles and pats on my shoulder. And then she takes my hand and keeps around three thousand rupees. In a complete shock, I look above at her and she just smiles at me.

"Where did you get all this money from?" I ask her, surprisingly.

"There is something known as savings" she answers and forces me to accept it. I collect it without asking any more questions and peacefully keep it inside my purse.

I pull the zipper of my trolley suitcase, close it tight and put the number lock at the top of it to keep it on the floor vertically. I then hold it's top and drag it outside my room to the living area where my dad and Aarav are sitting. Damn! This suitcase has become really heavy.

"So Aditi, all set?" asks my Dad while looking at me.

I take a look at all the three bags I am carrying to finally answer him with a 'yes' .

Aarav stands up from the sofa to go and call out for a taxi because he is the one who is going to drop me at the airport. I also start going along with him towards the gate, followed by my parents.

"Take care of yourself, honey" says my mom and hugs me. I then hug my dad and he says "All the best, do well" and I thank him.

They are right now feeling so proud of me for my selection for this 'so called educational tour'. Hardly do they know that this is just a lie and I am going for a vacation with my boyfriend who is right now waiting for me inside the airport.

He messaged me few minutes back that he has already reached and he is waiting for me. Since this is an airport and no one can enter without a ticket. My brother Aarav wouldn't be able to meet or even see him there. Saved!

"Call me dear when you reach Mumbai" says my mom.

"Sure mom" I reply.

After waving to my parents, I and Aarav sit inside the car and we prepare to leave for the airport. Aarav takes a seat on the passengers' seat and I sit behind. The airport is just a fifteen minutes drive from my home.

The driver put the keys into the ignition after placing my bags behind the car in the dikki. He starts the car and I turn to look at my parents to give them a final goodbye with a smile.

Through the dim lights around the houses and the slight traffic, we finally reach the destination. I look through my window to notice the glamorous look of the Airport. It is gleaming brightly in the night.
