I get sprinkles of water on my face. I blink my eyes several times to finally be able to open them. I feel a slight pain in my head and try to lift myself up from the bed where I am lying.
I see mom, dad and Aarav standing near to my bed and staring at me. Aarav passes me a glass of water and I quickly take from him to drink. I am feeling somewhat better.
"Are you okay now?" asks Aarav.
I press my temples and answer "I-I think so".
"What happened to me?" I ask everyone. I swear I am not able to remember.
"You fainted when you were serving water to the guests" replies dad.
"Oh! Are the guests gone?" I ask him. "Yeah. Four hours ago dear" answers my dad and caresses my head. I look at the clock and find that it is 9 in the night. That means they might have left at around 5pm.
Dad kisses my forehead and says "Take care". Aarav says the same and both of them exit from the room. Mom is still here and looking at me fiercely.
"You fainted after hearing about Daksh's news, right?" enquires mom and raises her left eyebrow.
Oh dear God! She is right. Now I remember everything. Daksh has met with an accident. And when I heard the news, I don't remember anything what happened after that. This means that I fainted.
My eyes widen in shock and I begin to sweat. I feel difficult to breath. I take another sip of water from the glass and place it back on the table.
Is he okay? I have no idea in which condition he is right now. I feel so bad. This is all because of me. Every wrong thing happens because of me. I am such a terrible person.
I return to what my mom asked and I reply with a nod. What else I could say? If I would have lied, she would have caught me. She gets up from her seat and moves out of the room out of disappointment. I know she wouldn't be waiting here for my this answer.
I want to see Daksh and I want to see him right now. I can't wait for tomorrow. His condition is critical and anything can happen between these hours. The reason for this accident is definitely his drinking behaviour. He must have drunk a lot and would be driving. I cannot take the risk. I will have to go no matter what. But how?
I think I will have to escape from the house in the midnight when everyone will be asleep. I will carefully step out of the house without anyone noticing me and return before the sun rise.
I quickly set up alarm for 2am in my phone with low alarming sound so that no one car hear except me. I keep it below my pillow and switch off the lights.
I know I am sleeping quite early tonight but I have to do it because I am going to stay awake all night. I take the blanket over me and cover myself till my neck. I then close my eyes and try to sleep. In my sleep, I am praying for you Daksh. I cannot wait to see him.

Tring Tring.
I open my eyes after hearing the noise. I take out my phone from beneath my pillow and switch off the alarm. I quickly get up from my bed and change my clothes in the dark. I take my footwear in my hand and come out from my room by tip toeing.
As I close the door of my room from behind me and turn around, I get a shock. Mom. What is she doing here? Oh no! I am screwed now.
"Where the hell are you going Aditi?" she asks in her angry tone.
"T-To my friend's house. She is not well" I tell her.
"Shut up. Are you going to the hospital?" she asks. How did she know? Maybe this is why she is my mother. She understands everything.
