Tringg!
I hear a noise beside me. I didn't respond to it and turn to my other side while curling inside my comfortable blanket. In another second the noise comes up again and I move my hands in search of the device on which I have set the alarm.
I pat here and there on the bed with my eyes still shut, when I finally find my phone and slide to the right on the phone's screen to dismiss the alarm. I slightly open my eyes to see the time when I find that it's 8:30 am!
I throw away the blanket from myself and rub my eyes. I turn to my right and see that Daksh is still asleep. He didn't hear the alarm or what? I get up from the bed and wear my slippers. I go towards the window and pull the curtains to the corners so that the sunlight reaches the room.
I grab my toothbrush and toothpaste and enter inside the washroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. After five minutes, I come out and go towards the telephone to order the breakfast for both of us.
After placing the order, I turn around to check if Daksh is still sleeping. Yes of course! I take my phone and move out of the room to the balcony when I hear soothing voice of the waves in the water. Yes, I am in the houseboat. I had completely forgotten that we spent the night here until I saw this. The air around is so refreshing and the weather is mild and sweet.
I take a deep breath with a smile covering my lips and take a seat in the chair which is kept here in the balcony itself. I don't want to wake him up so it's better that I should sit here and appreciate the sunrise. Also, we are not in a hurry to go anywhere.
I turn on my phone and decide to click pictures of the beautiful sceneries around me. The water, mother nature, beautiful sunrise and the birds. They are all looking so pretty and amazing. I start capturing the sunrise when my phone starts ringing.
"Vaibhav calling" flashes up. I quickly pick up the call within three rings.
Me: Hello!
Vaibhav: Hello Aditi?
Me: Hi Vaibhav. Good morning.
Vaibhav: Good morning.
Me: How come you called so early?
Vaibhav: It has been days since I talked to you both, so just thought of calling. I tried calling on Daksh's phone but it was coming unreachable.
Me: Ohh! Actually he is still sleeping.
Vaibhav: Oh okay. I hope I wouldn't have disturbed him.
Me: No No. Not at all.
Vaibhav: And say? When you both are returning?
Me: Tomorrow morning.
Vaibhav: Oh! Then I and Shikha will come to pick you both from the Airport.
Me: Great!
Vaibhav: Okay bye. Will meet you tomorrow.
Me: Bye Vaibhav. Take care! And I hang up. I can't believe that our vacation has finally come to it's end. It was such an awesome experience. I would never forget this trip ever in my life.
"You were talking to..?" questions a voice from behind. I quickly about turn when I find Daksh standing shirtless right there with his eyes still sleepy.
"Oh you woke up! Good morning" I cheerfully say.
"You didn't answer to my question" he snaps.
"Question? Okay that one! Yeah, I was talking to Vaibhav" I answer.
He gives an irritated expression and asks "Why?"
"He just wanted to ask about our wellbeing and when are we returning" I reply.
"Oh really? For that, he could have called me" tells Daksh.
Why is he behaving so unusually all of a sudden?
