Trip to The Homeland

MIRACULOUS CHAPTER 6

Adrien's POV

So after me and Ling's little fiasco Marinette didn't sit with either of us. Instead she sat with Alya of course. AND also she was cuddling with the Panda bear I gave her.

I sighed and slumped unto my seat. I shouldn't have grabbed Marinette like that. She had the freedom to pick who ever she wanted to sit with.

Anyway, we were on our way back to the inn when Marinette started passing down treats.

Once I got one I looked at it. It looked strange. It was square, yellow, and it had the most wonderful scent.

Marinette must've saw me look at it so strangely and with interest that she told me what it was,"It's a lemon square." I looked at her.

"A lemon what?" Marinette giggled, I smiled.

"A lemon square, my nana made it for the trip."

I thanked her and she went to go give the others their lemon squares.

I lifted the treat and took a bite out of it. My eyes widened. This. THIS TREAT! I Love It. I gobbled the whole thing up. It was so good. I was about to compliment on how delicious the treat was, but someone beat me to it.

"Marinette! These lemon squares are amazing."

"Thank you Ling, but I think you should tell that to my nana."

Ling. Of course I wasn't gonna let that guy steal Marinette from me. I stood up using the chair in front of me as support, and looked at Marinette.

"Marinette could I have another lemon square please."

Marinette giggled. She took one lemon square from a bag and made her way towards me.

I looked at Ling and he was glaring at me. Good. I sat back down once Marinette arrived. She gave me the lemon square but before she could go back to her seat; the bus bumped on something on the road and this made her fall on me.

"Oh my stars! I'm so sorry Adrien!" She looked at me clearly freaked out.

"It's okay" she got up and went back to her seat with pink cheeks.

LING'S POV (THUNDER⚡️ noise *insert here* bet ya'll didn't see this coming)

I was glaring at the blonde dude that was looking at MY Marinette. Agreste was his name I think. His name made my blood boil.

Marinette clearly hates him. I should know. I was one of her guy friends (aka future boyfriend) since pre-k.

I was still glaring at the dude when the bus bumped something. My poor Marinette fell on his lap. Okay that's IT. I will not let Marinette fall for him. And if she is already heads over heals for him; I'd have to show her that all his affections was all for nothing. That it's all fake. But, how will I prove that to her?

From the corner of my eye I saw Kristie looking out the window. Yes she came with us since we were going back to the inn, and that's when an idea popped.

"Hey Krisite." I moved closer to her since she was right beside me. I placed my arm around her. She blushed crimson red.

I knew that she's had a crush on me since forever.

"I need to ask you a favor." Kristie looked at me.

"What's in it for me?"
I looked at her lips and leaned in. She did the same thing. Our lips touched for a minute until we pulled away. 

"C'mon baby, you know you want to help," I place my mouth near her ear and spoke huskily,"and also don't worry, I'll give you your reward if you do."

I pulled away,"So, are you in?"
As expected, she agreed. The things people do for love. (Maniac laugh *insert here*)
