Hey everyone!
I know it's kind of slow in the beginning, but it'll get better, I swear!
Anyways, here's chapter 2!
Picture set of Zack above/to the right :) He's portrayed by Bernardo Velasco, who I am totally in love with.

I've always liked visiting the pack house in Denver. Growing up in Colorado Springs, I didn't know this area like the back of my hand, but I was still familiar with the area enough to know the woods. I haven't been behind the pack house in a long time, but I've been there often enough that my feet seem to remember the path and I find myself in the middle of the forest an hour later.
I'm facing one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. A green meadow sits before me, grass rippling from the slight wind. In the back, there is a small, crystalline lake. It has smooth rocks at the back of it, and I make my way over to the largest one, taking pictures along the way.
Animals tentatively come out after a while, recognizing that I'm not human and I take a beautiful picture of deer. I zoom in to a beautiful batch of roses, and I'm literally about to snap the picture when a deep voices startles me out of my concentration.
"That's a nice camera," he says. I yelp and shift it too much, scowling when I see that I've ended up with a blurry photo.
"Thanks," I reply sarcastically. "Now you just went and ruined what would've been a perfectly good shot."
The guy chuckles, and I continue to scowl at him.
"I'm Adrian. The new Beta," he offers after a few minutes. I roll my eyes.
"Well Adrian, I'm Teresa and I really need you to shut up so I can take this shot," I snap at him, turning around to try and recapture the picture.
Adrian falls silent, but I can still hear him breathing so I'm assuming he hasn't really moved. After I finally capture the photo, I turn around and fully take him in.
He has shiny black hair, and these beautiful blue eyes that are so clear they would've made my heart melt if he hadn't irritated me just now. He's slightly tanned from spending so much time in the sun, and he barely hits what looks to be about six feet.
"Now that you've taken your shot, I wanted to tell you that Zack wanted me to find you since he saw you heading out here two hours ago. He was worried about you."
"Oh," I blink. "Yeah, sorry, I guess I didn't realize how much time I had spent out here."
He chuckles. "I figured. Well, we're having a barbecue right now if you want to come hang out."
"You can lead the way," I tell him, putting the lens cap on my camera as I turn it off. Adrian nods, turning to lead me out of the forest and back to the pack house.

After a fifteen minute walk of silence, I'm back in my room fretting over what to wear to this sort of thing. Sighing, I find myself walking upstairs to my sister's room.
"D?" I poke my head in through Delilah's door to find her sitting on her bed in a short, white dress with a reddish-brown leather jacket thrown over it. She motions for me to come in, which I do.
"I don't know what to wear," I admit to her, cringing as she starts to smirk.
"Hmm..." she ponders, getting up to inspect me. Her face then changes into what can only be described as a lightbulb-just-went-off expression, and she yanks me into her closet.
