Hey! Sorry I took so long to update again; I took my AP Psychology exam on Monday afternoon and I went to prom with one of my senior friends last weekend! I had a lot of fun but here's an update to satisfy y'all for the next two weeks — I have two AP exams this upcoming Wednesday and Thursday and then I'm going to my cousin's college graduation from Friday to Sunday so I doubt I will have the time to post during next week. So hope this holds you over until then!
xoxo,
Morgan

Our conversation lulls to silence, but it's a comfortable one. It makes me happy our friendship has reached the level where you can just enjoy each other's company and don't need to talk to entertain each other. Sure the television is on, but I'm leaning my head on her shoulder and her eyes are half-closed.
An hour later, I crack open my eyes with a huge yawn to see Zack standing in front of the couch, my camera in his hands. The flash going off must have somehow woken me up, especially with the way Zack is shifting back and forth on his feet and making a lot of noise.
"Sorry," he whispers. "I couldn't help it, you guys looked adorable. You'll thank me later."
"Sure," I grumble, trying to get comfortable again with my head on Amber's shoulders. Unfortunately she stirs, turning to look at the both of us in confusion.
"What...?" she says sleepily, and then closes her eyes again. Soft snores are emitting from her lips within thirty seconds, and Zack and I make eye contact as we both chuckle under our breaths.
"You can add this one to your collection," he says, handing me the fresh Polaroid. He was right, we do look cute – my head is nestled into her shoulder, legs curled up under me, while she is completely passed out against me.
"I will be sure to," I say, handing it back to him so I don't lose it. "When did you get back from the airport?"
Zack offered to pick up Tatiana from the airport after she said goodbye to her sister, since he know Amber would be here occupying my time. He left a half hour before she got here and he and Tatiana must have gotten back while Amber and I were asleep.
"Oh, like fifteen minutes ago," Zack replies, and then motions to Amber. "Should I call Adrian to come get her? She looks like she really needs to sleep."
"Yeah, I'd do that," I say, and he nods, pulling out his phone to dial his friend's number. Adrian picks up on the third or fourth ring.
"Hey, can you come get Amber?" Zack asks, and then rolls his eyes. "She's asleep."
He's quiet for a few seconds, and I hear Adrian's muffled response – saying he'll be over in ten minutes to get her.
"Okay. See you then." He hangs up the call, shoving his phone into his back pocket before gently putting my camera on the shelf by the television.
I can feel my friend shivering against me, so I ask Zack to get a blanket. He spins around and opens the little cabinet we have in here, extracting a mass of fluffy brown and draping it over the two of us. "Thanks."
"Of course." He makes sure that my feet are covered, and then touches his fingers to my face similar to the way he did last night. It makes me warmer than the blanket does, and I smile at him, nuzzling my cheek into his calloused hands.

Adrian shows up fifteen minutes later, but he's not by himself. He looks irritated to have his younger brother tagging along with him, but I know he's here for one reason – one currently upstairs and lounging in her room...
