Chapter Thirteen

Hey y'all! This chapter's kind of a filler, but it's long. Next chapter is one that I've had planned out for ages, and I can't wait to publish it. Until then.....we must wait :P

Also, my mom took my laptop. I'm currently working from my old MacBook, but I don't really have any of my writing on here, aside from some old drafts of Ring Around. So until my laptop is returned to me, we must wait for some new updates! I have chapters fourteen and fifteen already written out, I just hadn't updated them to Wattpad, and now I'm seriously regretting that :(

So yeah. This sucks. On the upside, though, I've been getting a TON of new fans!!! Thank you to all the people who have been following me, it really means a lot! Also, this story has 3,000+ reads on it! Not as much as Ring Around (58K) but it's getting there :) On top of that, I've been managing to get on Werewolf -- usually, somewhere in the low 500s or 600s, but the highest I've gotten is #452. It's slow going, but I'm super happy about it!!! RA and DB get more reads each and every day and it makes me so freaking happy!!!!!

I honestly cannot wait to start posting Lone Dancer on here, but I know I have lots of work to do. Secretly I'm so tempted to post a little teaser of a chapter, but I know that DB needs to be completed before I even think abou posting a sentence of LD -- sorry guys :P

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy! Feel free to vote, comment, fan, or even leave a nice message on my message board or in my PMs :) Love y'all!

Amber is portrayed on the side. She becomes important later so I wanted you guys to have an idea of what she looks like. She's portrayed by Tika Sumpter (who you may know from her many roles and who I found through Gossip Girl!), only with lighter brown eyes :)

xoxo,

Morgan

The weekend drags by, probably because I can't wait. I finally have something to do! When I wake up on Monday morning, I find it impossible to go back to sleep. At ten on the dot, I hop out of bed, much to Zack's protests.

"Come back to bed, baby," Zack mumbles, arm stretching out for me.

"Why?" I whine.

"Because I want you to," he replies, head facedown into the pillow.

"Fine," I grumble, much to his satisfaction. Sliding back under the covers, I giggle as he drags me to his body.

"My mom called last night while you were sleeping," he murmurs. Wrapping his arms around my waist, Zack nuzzles his head into the crook of my neck. His slight stubble scratches my neck, but I don't mind.

"What did she say?" I ask him, snuggling into him.

"She just wanted to catch up, and she even wanted to talk to you," he says, chuckling. "I didn't want to wake you up though."

"Was she serious about dinner?"

"I asked about it, but then Dad told her to let us 'have our space.'"

I laugh. "I want to go see them, though. I love them."

"I'm glad you do," he says. "But I don't know when we're going to go over there, though."

"Eh," I reply, shrugging. "I don't really care when we go, I just want to go. Did you grow up there?"

"No," he says. "I grew up in this house, actually. After I took over, they got their own house and moved into that one."

"Oh, well that's cool."

"Yup."

"Are we gonna do that?"
