Hey y'all! I know it's been a while and these chapters have been kind of dragging, but I swear it'll pick up soon! School is hard and work keeps me busy so I'm trying to update when I can and make the chapters really long as a result. My average is like six pages now :)

Try and comment and vote if you enjoy the chapters! Lately nobody comments anymore and I feel like you guys lost interest and it makes me sad :( Even if it's just saying you liked it, it's very appreciated!!

Anyways, enjoy the chapters, loves!

xoxo,

Morgan

The next couple of hours are intense for all of us. There's still no word on Annabeth's condition, since she's been unresponsive ever since the doctors stabilized her. As far as we know, they're still searching for the exact strain of wolfsbane that's in her system. There's a lot of medical stuff that I can't possibly understand, so I just know the most basic versions of what's wrong with her.

I avoid Zack as much as I can, sitting on the opposite side of the room with Delilah and Amber on either side of me. There's a lot of animosity between the two, but I can't understand why. I mean, Delilah may be a little jealous because Amber fell asleep on her friend with benefit's chest, but this goes much deeper than that.

Night has fallen long ago, the city of Denver lighting up around us as it grows later and later. Finally, around midnight, Zack offers to drive people home.

“I'm staying here,” I say immediately. He narrows his eyes at me for a split second, the same look he gave me during our hallway fight hours earlier, but you wouldn't even notice it if you didn't know what to look for.

“I'm staying too,” Amber announces. “I'm not leaving Tess and Ed here by themselves.”

“I'm gonna go home,” Adrian says, getting up to go stand over by Zack. “I'll be back with food and coffee in the morning for everyone.”

“We'll be going as well,” Matt says, shaking his wife awake. She jerks off of him, blushing a little as she wipes some drool off of her face.

“I guess I'll go home too,” Delilah says. “You gonna be okay, Reese?”

I nod. “Yeah, go home. I'll be okay, Lylie. Can you bring me some clothes when you go home?”

“Of course,” she replies. “Good night, everyone.”

“Good night,” everyone choruses. In the end, only Zack, Adrian, Delilah, Matt, and Lindsay leave, the rest of us opting to stick it out through the night.

“Are we just gonna sleep on these couches?” I ask Amber. She shakes her head.

“They have rooms with beds in them,” she says. “It's pretty convenient, actually. Do you wanna check it out now?”

“Sure,” I reply. Getting up, I follow her to the elevator, where we go up two floors to G4. The doors slide open on that floor, revealing a hallway with several doors on them. She opens the third one down the hall, signaling for me to enter behind her.

“They're all the same,” she says. “Well, maybe with different colors on the walls, but it's the same basic stuff.”

There's four full-sized beds in this room, each shoved in the four corners of the room. This room is painted a soft gold, with white furniture and a door to the side that I assume leads to a bathroom. There's no television in here, though, but it's not as though I'll be watching that.
