Hey y'all! Been a while since my last update. Btw, I saw TFIOS, yes I read the book, but the movie is perfect. They do leave some things out but it's still a fantastic movie. PS: Bring tissues.

Sorry I took FOREVER to update this -- it's nearly been a month! Yikes! I made this chapter extra long to make up for it, hope that's okay :)

Anyways, enjoy!

xoxo,

Morgan

Taking Zack's orders very seriously, I practically fly out of the room and down the stairs, where Adrian, Ed, and Doc are sitting. They're having a nice conversation I assume, until they all turn their eyes to me.

"Zack needs you two," I say, pointing at Adrian and Ed. They nod and get up, heavy footsteps pounding on the stairs.

"Thanks for saving him," I tell Doc. "I don't think I can say it enough, honestly."

"It's nothing," he says, eyes crinkling from smiling. "Been taking care of him since he was a baby."

At that moment, the door slams open. Two people walk inside Doc's house - a small woman and a very tall man. I don't have enough time to look them over, but I do take note of the woman's familiar hazel eyes. The man has a tall, yet not too muscular frame that I'm used to seeing every day. They similarly pound up the stairs, but then I hear the lighter pair rush back down the stairs and suddenly, she throws herself on me.

I squeak in surprise as Zack's mother pulls back and looks me over.

"Teresa!" Luna Lindsay exclaims, a wide smile on her face. She's always been super energetic, but I never really registered that fact until it was right in front of me. People have always described her as a ball of energy, and that ball has just hit me in the face. I honestly don't know how my mother could have been friends with her.

"Hi, Luna," I say, and she screams a little and hugs me again. I hug her back, albeit awkwardly.

"I never pictured you would end up with our Zachary! This is so perfect!" she says loudly, grinning a little crazily.

"Yup," I reply meekly, smiling slightly.

"And you don't have to call me Luna! God no, it's been a while since I've been Luna. I should be calling you that!"

"Um," I don't really know how to respond. "I guess so. You don't really have to call me that, I'm not technically the Luna yet -"

Lindsay waves her hands through the air, silencing me. "Bah! To hell with the technicalities and whatnot. You're pretty much Luna already! The whole pack simply adores you -"

I don't know about adores.. I think to myself. My wolf chuckles at this.

I certainly agree with you.

Oh, hush. I inwardly roll my eyes at my wolf, not wanting to seem crazy on the outside.

While I've been having my lapse in concentration, I realize that Lindsay only cut herself off since her mate was giving her a pointed look.

"Liz, give the poor girl a break, would you?" Alpha Matt has a deep, booming voice, and I jump when I hear it. I haven't heard it in years, but it makes it no less intimidating. Looking over, I see that he's leaning on the staircase at about halfway down, his blue eyes piercing.

He cracks a grin. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. Teresa is it?"

Somehow, I find my voice. "Yeah, Teresa Clarkson. My mom's friends with Luna Lindsay, I don't know if you know her -"
