Hey y'all! How's it been going? School has been so boring, we had our first football game and we lost :( But I'm really excited because the Harry Potter club meets up Tuesdays at lunch and it started this week :D It was super fun!!
Anyways, onto the chapter! It's kind of boring in the beginning, but it gets exciting toward the end...next chapter will be something, that's for sure :P This one is REALLLY long as well!
I hope you guys like it! Lately nobody's been commenting so I don't really know how you guys feel about things...so if you could comment your opinion or something, even if it's just one comment, it'd really make me happy :)
xoxo,
Morgan

Saturday morning, I wake up late – around eleven thirty in the morning. Zack sighs and mutters the word finally under his breath, thinking I won't notice. I roll my eyes, clutching the covers tightly around me as he tries to yank them from under me.
“Stop it,” I whine, burrowing my head into the pillow. Hair goes into my mouth, so I spit it out, desperately holding onto my warmth as I do so. Zack's side of the blanket goes loose, so I relax my grip, only to have the whole thing pulled out of my arms.
“You little shit,” I grumble. Closing my eyes, I curl my body into the fetal position to conserve warmth and try to go back to sleep.
“Tess,” Zack says, sounding slightly annoyed. “Any other day I wouldn't care about how late you sleep, but today's kind of important. Okay, not kind of – it is important.”
“Why?” I ask, still trying to go back to sleep. Half of me knows it's futile while the other just wants to slip back into the bliss that is sleeping.
“Because we have the Luna announcement at four o'clock,” he says. “Did you forget, or are you just not trying to get out of bed?” The blanket floats back down over me as I sigh dreamily, basking in its warmth.
“I don't wanna get out of bed yet,” I complain, knowing how childish I sound but not really giving a damn. “I'm tired.”
He sighs loudly, and I hear him walking over to my side of the bed. And then suddenly, I'm swung up into his arms, blankets and all. Yelping in shock, I would have fallen onto the floor if it weren't for the fact that Zack automatically tightened his grip on me. Snuggling into his chest, I close my eyes again and listen to the reassuring beat of his heart as he walks down the stairs.
“Enjoying yourself?” Zack asks. I jerk myself back awake, yawning as he walks me into the kitchen. I can see how nice the house looks – the dining room table extra polished, couch pillows fluffed and rearranged, counters gleaming with no dust in sight. People I haven't seen before are walking around to make sure everything looks perfect.
“I guess,” I mumble, yawning again. “Why are there so many people around?”
“To make sure the house looks nice,” he says. “I don't know. My mom helped me put this together.”
I snort. “Of course she did.”
“It's not like I could have done it,” he points out. “Plus, it's more formal this year.”
“Why?” I ask, puzzled. Normally it's a casual-ish event – you wouldn't walk in with ratty jeans and a sweater, but you didn't have to come in with ball gowns and tuxedos either. It was a nice mix of casual-formal clothing from what I'd heard.
Zack rolls his eyes. “Because my mom wanted us to seem more mature? We're the youngest Alpha and Luna ever.”
“Good point.”
