We jumped in the cars and sped to Ray's apartment.
When we got there, Geoff practically ran up the stairs to Millie.
"Millie?!" Geoff shouted as he ran through the door.
Millie ran to Geoff and hugged him tight.
"Why did you leave the house?" Geoff asked.
Millie looked to Michael and I.
"I followed you." she said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because... because Egg told me to."
"What?" Geoff asked.
"Egg the kitty. He woke me up and I heard you leave, so I followed you."
"Why?" I asked, again.
"I don't know. I'm sorry."
"Honey," Geoff said. "You had us all really scared. Don't leave without telling someone, okay?"
"Okay." she said.
