Today Lindsay called me after work and I reluctantly answered.
"Hello?"
"Oh, hey, Gavin." Lindsay replied.
"What do you want?" I asked politely.
"Oh, nothing," she replied, "I was just wondering how 'Mavin' could possibly ruin a marriage."
"Lindsay, it wasn't meant to be!"
"Oh, it wasn't, huh?" she asked, evil brimming her words.
"No!" I replied, "Michael just wasn't happy-"
"That's not what I'm talking about, Gavin. Dumb British fucktard." Well, that hurt.
"I'm talking about Geoff and Ray!" She continued.
I gasped and wondered, who possibly told her? Geoff, Ray, and I are the only ones that know! I didn't tell her, and I'm pretty sure Geoff and Ray wouldn't.
"Yes, I know all about Geoff's secret relationship with Ray. How could he possibly cheat on Griffon? And then there's you. The secret-keeper and the guy right smack in the middle of this whole mess. Well, I'll tell you what, how about I just tell Griffon so that they're aren't any more secrets?"
"No!" I yelped, but Lindsay hung up.
"Damn damn damn DAMN! How could this happen?" I asked myself.
