I didn't see Lindsay at work the next day. Geoff and Ray were both really quiet, so I figured Ray knew. And Millie was at work, too, for some reason.
"Hey, Millie!" I said, walking in the door moments after Michael to see Millie running at me. She wrapped her arms around my waist and hugged me tight.
When she let go, she looked up at me and said, "Hi, Gavin!" I winked at her and grabbed her hand as we walked to the office together.
Everyone was there already, messing around and playing games. Jack was editing and joking around with Geoff (who I could tell was only smiling for the good of everyone else), Ray and Michael were flinging rubber bands at each other, and Ryan was playing video games on the couch.
Millie ran in and jumped on Geoff's lap, causing him to grunt and start laughing.
Ryan turned to me and pulled off his headphones, "Hey, Gavin."
" 'Ey, Ryan."
I took a seat at my desk, flicking on my Xbox and pulling up Minecraft.
"Geoff, we got a Let's Build to do, remember?" I said, turning to look at him.
"Oh, yeah, that's right." he said, plopping Millie on the couch by Ryan and turning his Xbox on as well.
"Hey, Millie, what's up?" Ryan asked excitedly, trying to spark up a conversation.
I soon received a game invite from Geoff and joined into Achievement City.
