Later, I walked into the studio, following Michael. I saw Burnie seated in his chair with Gus across from him. And...
Lindsy. Seated on the couch.
Lindsay.
I sat between Lindsay and Michael. Once we were all settled in, they began filming. At that moment, I realised what I was doing and quickly pulled my hand off Michael's thigh. I guess Lindsay saw, though, because she gave me a mean stare and I saw her turn her head away from Michael's leg.
"So, today-"
But before Burnie could even get the intro in, Lindsay began to speak.
"Michael dumped me for Gavin and they've been dating for, like, a month now and once I walked in on them having gay sex in Michael's apartment." She spoke so fast that, when she was finished, she took a deep breath and sat back again.
Gus and Burnie's expressions immediately changed to shock, Lindsay had an evil smirk, Michael looked like he was gonna explode with anger, and I felt like I was gonna cry.
Just as I felt a tear run down my cheek, Michael stood up and and almost punched Lindsay, but decided against it. Instead, he briskly left.
As for me...
I couldn't move. I just sat there crying. Burnie went to look for Michael and Gus exchanged his look for a sympathetic one.
A few minutes later, Burnie returned without Michael. I ran out of the studio crying. I looked around for Michael, but couldn't find him. His car wasn't in the parking lot, either. I asked Geoff for a ride, but he was busy. So, I packed up my stuff and walked home.
After a while, I finally found Michael in our bedroom. He was sprawled out on the bed, face-down.
He looks up at me. His eyes are red, so he's been crying, too.
I plopped down next to him and wrapped my arms around him, pulling him into a big hug as we both lay there..
"I-I'm sorry, Micoo." I said.
He didn't reply for a while, but he finally kissed my cheek and said, "I love you, Gavin. I always will."
He paused, before adding,
"Forever."
