We all went through the buffet and got our food. While eating, Ray mostly steered the conversation towards achievements and new games.
"So, I was playing Ducktails Remastered, and there is this one level that is just fucking me over and over." Michael chimed in.
"I've never played Ducktails." I added.
"You haven't?!" Ray asked in disbelief.
"Naw." I said.
Then Geoff turned the conversation toward Michael and I.
"You never really answered me, Gav. How long have you and Michael been a thing?" He asked.
"Uhh..." I paused.
"Wait, wait, wait! Gavin and Michael are together?" Ryan asked.
"Uhh..." I was frozen.
"Yeah. That's why Lindsay broke up with Michael. How did Lindsay find out?" Geoff asked.
"Well, um... you probably don't wanna know." Michael replied.
"Yeah we do." Jack said.
"No, you really don't." I said, sounding more stubborn than I intended to.
I remember the day...
The thud of the suitcase on the ground caused Michael to turn and face his bedroom door, where he saw Lindsay. Her mouth hung open at the sight of Michael and I. In bed. Together. Naked.

"I don't want to hear any more. You see this?" she said, grabbing the ring Michael gave her when he proposed.
"Yeah, we're through." she finished, ripping it off and throwing it on the ground.
And with that, she left.
Nobody spoke for a good couple minutes.
"So, Call of Duty Ghosts?" Ray said.
"Yeah! I'm really excited!" Geoff added.
I kept my head down and continued to shovel food into my mouth, as did Michael.
