Michael didn't go to work the next day, but I decided to for some fucked up reason. When I first arrived at the office, nobody said a word. It was kinda awkward, actually. But whatever.
Around noon, I went to the kitchen to make a sandwich. And, WOOPTY FUCKIN' DOO, Lindsay was there.
Goddamn, I've got to stop acting so much like Michael.
Anyway, I didn't say a word to Lindsay, but I expected her to spark up a conversation.
She didn't, though. Which is odd, actually. She'll talk to anyone if their five feet from her. She just grabbed an apple and a bottle of water and left.
Once I returned to the office, Geoff decided he wanted to talk to me again.
"Look, buddy. I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. I know Michael's probably pretty upset, as well." he waited. I guess he expected me to reply.
"Umm... if you need anything, let me know." he finished.
I sat at my desk and began editing, as did Geoff.
The rest of the day, though, Geoff kept acting extremely sympathetic. I really like having my best friend their for me, but Geoff's never acted like this.
