This princess has six brothers who get turned into swans by—you guessed it—their wicked stepmother, and the only way to save them is for the princess to make them each a shirt out of nettles and not say a word for seven years. The king of another country loves how this girl doesn't talk, so he marries her, and they have a kid. But then the king's mom is also a wicked stepmother and steals the baby away, blaming it on the new queen. They almost burn this poor girl at the stake, but she's able to get the shirts to her swan brothers and start talking again just in the nick of time.
